SCORING
Individual Events: 11-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1.
Relays: 22-18-16-14-12-10-8-6-4-2.
AWARDS
Medals will be awarded for first through 10th places in each age group. A “U.S. Masters Swimming Championship Patch” will be given to each individual and relay team member for the first event won. Swimmers winning more than one event may purchase additional patches. Unclaimed awards will not be mailed unless arrangements are made at the meet. There will be a charge for mailing awards. Awards will be presented to the top ten combined clubs in the Regional and Local Club divisions.
FINAL RESULTS
Complete final results may be ordered in advance or at the Awards Table during the meet. Cost will be $15.00 per copy. The usms.org website will post results.
TIME VERIFICATION (FORMERLY OVCs)
Swimmers needing verification of time(s) or wishing to have their times entered into the USA Swimming SWIMS Database (for entry into USA-S national meets) should complete a form at the meet prior to the swim. Contact the Administrative Referee at the meet.
2010 Nationals Q&A
Q1. The meet info sheet indicated that swims could be observed so that they could be entered into the SWIMS database. In light of the decision to continue to use tech suits (banned in USA-S), is that still true?
A1. Yes - If you request to be observed for a USA-S official time you will be judged under USA-S rules which means you will not be permitted to wear a Technical Suite since the USA-S ban went into effect last year. Masters (not being observed) may still wear their Technical Suites.

Atlanta Transportation Information
The Atlanta Link- the sole shuttle operator at the airport that serves Downtown, Midtown and Buckhead. Once in baggage claim follow the signs outside to ground transportation and hotel shuttles. You can pay with cash or credit card to the kiosks in baggage claim, the dispatcher on the curb or the driver. The cost is Downtown $16 (1 way), & $28 (roundtrip), Midtown $18 & $32 and Buckhead $20 & $36. They do runs to & from the hotels twice an hour from 6am-12am. (Metro Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority)-once in baggage claim follow the signs to Marta. You can purchase passes with cash or credit card on line or at the station at the airport. The cost for a one way ticket is $2.00 and a $.50 surcharge will be added to the purchase of a new Breeze Ticket, but you can get deals on extended stay visitor passes. Taxi Service-once in baggage claim follow signs to Taxis. The fare to Downtown is approximately $25 dollars one way.
