Chris Ackerman Coach Chris Akerman is our Advanced/ Elite/College Prep Coach.

\r\nChris played water polo for Westview in High School, was on the State Championship Team his senior year, played for Tualatin Hills Water Polo and was named All-American. He went on to play Water Polo in College at University of the Pacific. His team placed 6th in the United States in 2001.

\r\nChris coached Water Polo for Wellesley College, Boston College, Sunset High School, Southridge High School, and has been a coach at Tualatin Hills Water Polo Club/United Coach for over seven years. Please join me in thanking Coach Chris for his leadership and continued support of our athletes and club.

Dan Harris Dan Harris has been swimming and playing water polo for more than 14 years. He played varsity Waterpolo in High School at Bellarmine College Preparatory School in San Jose, California. Then he earned his Bachelors Degree in Biological Science with Anatomy/Physiology and a minor in Psychology at California Polytechnic State University and played water polo all four years. He was a member of the National Championship Water Polo Team in 2004 and 2007 and was named All American in 2007. We was named Pacific Coast Player of the Year three years in a row. He was also Team Captain in 2007 and 2008.

\r\nHe coached at San Luis Obispo High School and started with T-Hills in June of 2009. His goal is to have a positive impact on both the lives and water polo career of our athletes.

Coach Sarah Sarah Mitich is the newest addition to our Water Polo Staff. She has been a part of Tualatin Hills Water Polo since 2007 and has attended several National Tournaments including Junior Olympics.

Volunteer Coach Ian Bricken Ian Bricken has a deep and rich history with Tualatin Hills Water Polo Club. He coached with us for over 10 years in the 1990\'s and was instrumental in taking our athletes to Junior Olympics where they placed as high as 3rd in the Nation.

\r\nIan has two athletes currently in our program and is a volunteer coach.

Tim Reed Tim Reed is our Athlete Development Director and consultant. As we will continue to grow our relationship with United, Tim will help us with athlete/coach development and play a significant, instrumental role in helping us with our coaches, tournaments, training programs, and clinics. Coach Reed has an incredible water polo background. He is the present Assistant Coach of the USA Men\'\'s Junior National Team and he is the USA Water Polo Zone 5 Chair. Tim was named the Elite Men\'\'s Coach of the Year for Zone 5 USWP in 2004 and 2005, and Zone 5 USWP Development Coach of the Year in 2003. Between 1999 – 2005 he was Mercer Island Head Water Polo Coach, and MI won the State Championship from 2000 to 2005. In 1994 and 1996 he was honored as the Metro League Swim Coach of the Year in California, and in 1992, he was named the Metro League Water Polo Coach of the Year in California. Coach Reed\'\'s has over 30 years of Water Polo Coaching Experience and we are fortunate to be able to draw on his experience and expertise. Tim lives in Sammamish with his wife and his beautiful daughter.
