This program is principally instructional.
\r\n
Beginner Age Group (7-10 yr olds): This is our developmental level of competitive team swimming, for athletes with some experience. This program is principally instructional, with an introduction to a training component for general fitness.
\r\n
Intermediate Age Group (9-11 yr old): This is the first level of our comprehensive team swimming experience, in that the program is a amalgam of an instructional and a training component. Practice is offered 6 times a week and athletes are encouraged to attend 5 times a week for 75 minutes. Athletes will be introduced to endurance training, in addition to more advanced stroke mechanics and techniques that are developmentally appropriate.
\r\n
Elite Age Group (11-14 yr old): Athletes in this group have distinguished themselves both in practice and competition and are committed to excellence. At this level athletes are introduced to a double session, once a week. Our focus is on continued aerobic base development, some basic strength and speed work, and more advanced stroke mechanics and techniques.
\r\n
Junior (13-15 yr old): This program helps to transition athletes from Age Group to Senior swimming. With a continued focus on aerobic base training and development, athletes are introduced to more intense strength and speed drills to accommodate their growing anaerobic capacity. Training duration and frequency both increase and athletes are expected to refine their mental skills and began to identify and appreciate the opportunity available to them.
\r\n
Intermediate Senior (13 and older): This program is best characterized as intense training, both aerobically and anaerobically. Athletes are expected to commit to the sport and the rigors of an intense training regime. In addition, athletes are expected to identify and perfect the myriad of factors that contribute to their success in the sport. It is our hope and intent to create an environment that breeds success.
\r\n
Advanced Senior (15 and older): The athletes in this program will be expected to have the same dedication and commitment as the Elite Senior group. This group will practice with the Elite Senior group, but will have one less morning and one less afternoon practice per week.
\r\n
Senior Elite (15 and older): The athletes in this program are both committed and consistent in their efforts toward being their best. They appreciate the opportunity the program presents to them, and are willing to take full advantage of that opportunity. Athletes are presented with the latest stroke mechanics and techniques as well as advanced dynamic training schemes with the expectation that maximal effort will yield peak performances.

');
