Entry Information:  Must be a USMS registered member.   
 
Registration: Online registration commences January 2nd at 12:01 AM  and closes at 12:01 PM on 3 February 2023 for Individual and Relays.  The fee is $30.00.
There will be no deck entries.  All swimmers must be USMS members.

Registration:  Participants may enter a maximum of 5 individual events.  Entry fees will be refunded if the meet is canceled.  Registrants may instead donate refund to the Adult Learn to Swim Program Online.  Fees are paid by credit card to "Minnesota Masters."  Entries via club assistant online only.

Course:  8 lane, 25 yard pool, using 8 lanes for competition.  8 lanes in the adjacent diving well will be available throughout the Meet for warm-up and cool-down.  The length of the competition pool complies with USMS following articles 105.1.7 and 107.2.1.
  
Positive Check‐in:  There are no positive check-in events for this meet.

Relays:  All relays must be submitted No Later Than 45 minutes before the respective relay to the Meet Director Gerry Vandam, vandammn6@aol.com.    All relay teams will either e-mail their information to the meet director by 12:01 p.m. on 2 February or complete a relay entry card with first name and last name, age and gender of each swimmer.  Each card or e-mail must include the club/workout group name.  For the relay to be official, no swimmer may be "unattached".  All relay members must be registered with the same club but may be from different workout groups.  The distance and type of relay must be circled or otherwise indicated. 

Individual Scoring: Scoring will be broken into two categories.  Short, all 50 plus the 100 IM,  Long,  all 100 plus the 200 IM.  To be eligible each swimmer must compete in all five events per category.  The times will be added together and the swimmer with the lowest total time will be the winner in their respective age group and category.
                                                                     
Results:  Results may be posted at the Eden Prairie Community Center at the discretion of the meet director, Unofficial realtime results will be uploaded to Meet Mobile.  Final results will be available at www.minesotamasters.com by Feb 9th. Times swum by non-Minesota LMSC members are not eligible for Minnesota LMSC records.     

Seeding:  Event seeding and lane assignments will be developed before the meet and e-mailed to all registrants. Some changes in heats or lanes may occur on the day of the meet. Certain events with few entries may be combined.

Relays:  Those organizing relays may sign up their teams by e‐mail to the meet director by 12:01 pm 2 Feb or may fill out and submit a written relay card at the meet no later than 45 minutes before the prospective event. There is no need for swimmers to indicate relay availability when registering. Event # 15 is a Mystery Mixed 200 Relay to be swam after the meet.

Official Split Request:  Split requests for individual events must be submitted using the USMS Split Notification form.  USMS rules, for backstroke events and relays you must notify the meet referee/director if you need to record an initial split time before swimming the event, and for individual events other than backsroke you must notify the referee/director before the meet ends.  
         
Safety Plan:  All swimmers, officials, volunteers, and spectators will follow the current rules and guidelines in force at the Eden Prairie Community Center concerning health concerns,  as provided for in the Eden Prairie safety plan.   
 
 
Breaks will be scheduled so that no swimmer is projected to have less than 8 minutes between individual swims and no less than 5 minutes between an individual swim and a relay swim.    
 
Please note: this meet will be canceled if prohibited by governmental authority, in which case all entry fees will be refunded. Swimmers who cancel are not eligible for refunds.
