We welcome everyone to the 2020 Spring Classic located at Illinois Wesleyan University in Bloomington, IL!  This meet has been held annually for over 25 years and is hosted by the Central Illinois Masters Swim Team, Inc.  We are approximately 2 hours South of Chicago and 2 ½ hours North of St. Louis. This is a fun road trip for most of our swimmers and a home meet for our local team!

Facility: Illinois Wesleyan University's Fort Natatorium is located at 302 East Emerson Street in Bloomington.  The pool is an eight lane 25 yard, L-shaped pool. It is equipped with a Colorado Electric Timing System and score board, non-turbulent lane markers, trench gutters and a Tarn-Pure filter system. The length of the competition course is in compliance and on file with USMS in accordance with articles 105.1.7 and 106.2.1.

For most events, we will use only lanes 1-6.  During the meet there will be room in lanes 7&8 and in diving end for warm-up and warm-down.  Please be respectful of all swimmers and hold noise down at the start of each heat. 

Sanction: Sanction by ILMSA for USMS # 210-S001

Eligibility: A 2020 USMS registration number is required and must be over 18 years of age. You will not be allowed to swim until we have a 2020 registration on file. Have your USMS card available when you check in for the meet.

Entry Fees: $25 in advance. $30 deck entered. Up to 5 events, this is a flat fee not a per event fee. Relays will be deck entered and deck created. They will not be for Top 10 or Records. These are for fun only.

Make it a Swimming Weekend:  Anyone registering for both the Swedish Fish March Madness meet and the Central Illinois Spring Classic meet will receive a refund for the Central Illinois Masters meet entry fee.  Simply pay the registration fees for both meets when completing the meet entries and immediately following the meets you'll be sent a refund.

Entry Deadline: Online entries should be received by the end of the day on March 7, 2020. Deck entries will be available, but we strongly recommend that you enter online in advance. 

Deck entries close at 9:15 a.m.

Positive check-in is required by 9:30 a.m.

Concessions: A concession table will be provided and stocked by the host team for the enjoyment of participating swimmers and their families and officials.

Directions: From Chicago- I55 South to Route 51 South. Left on Emerson. Pool is located on the left 1 block off of route 51. From St. Louis- I55 North to Route  51 South (exit in Normal, North of the cities). Left on Emerson. Follow the signs to Illinois Wesleyan. NOTE: You'll drive through the ISU campus, keep going South on Route 51.
