2017 Adirondack District Masters Championships

Location: Southern Saratoga YMCA, 1 Wall Street Clifton Park NY 12065. Short Course 25 Yard Pool, 8 lanes. Water Depth: > 10 ft. 0 in. at the start end and > 4 ft. 0 in. at the turn end. The length of the competition course is in compliance without a bulkhead and on file with USMS in accordance with articles 105.1.7 and 107.2.1.

Directions: Interstate 87 Exit 9. From South: Take Left off of Exit 9, less than a half mile until you reach an intersection with Clifton Country Road, take left onto Clifton Country Road. Follow Clifton Country Road about a half mile. Turn right onto Wall Street. Destination will be at the end of the street. From North: Take Right off of Exit 9, less than a half mile until you reach an intersection with Clifton Country Road, take left onto Clifton Country Road. Follow Clifton Country Road about a half mile. Turn right onto Wall Street. Destination will be at the end of the street.

Eligibility: Open to all swimmers, 18 & older, as of March 5, 2017. All swimmers must be registered with USMS (or the equivalent FINA organization). If registering for the meet online, your USMS membership will be verified online. If registering for the meet by mail, you must include a copy of your registration card. If you need to join or renew USMS membership, please visit www.adms.org, and follow the instructions. The age of a swimmer is his or her age on March 5, 2017. Online entries must be completed by 11:59 PM on March 2, 2017. Mailed entries must be postmarked by Saturday, February 27, 2017.

Events: This is a pre-seeded meet with events being swum slowest to fastest. A swimmer may enter up to FIVE individual events. Swimmers entered in event #6, the 500 freestyle must check-in by 2:00 PM. Swimmers entered in events #20 and #21 , the 1000 and 1650 freestyle must check-in by 3:00 PM Swimmers failing to check-in by the stated time will be scratched from the event. Relays will only be accepted as deck entries and must be in by 2:00 PM. Relay entries are $12. Only swimmers entered in at least one individual event in the meet are eligible to participate in relays.

Rules: 2017 USMS rules govern this meet. This includes no diving or backstroke starts in warm-up or cool down lanes except in the one-way designated sprint lanes. You must fully cooperate with this requirement. One lane will be available throughout the meet for warm-up and cool-down.

Results: Results will be posted at www.adms.org.

Entry fees: The entry fee is $6.00 per individual event plus a $5.00 meet surcharge . NO DECK ENTRIES for individual events will be accepted. Online entries are preferred and can be performed through Club Assistant:
