2022 MOVY Breadbasket Zone Championship - Meet Information
Sunday April 10^th, 2022, 11:00 am – 5:00 pm

Time:   Check-in begins at 11:00 am. Deck entries close firmly at 11:30 am. Warm-up is 11:00 – 11:50 pm. Events 12:00 pm. Additional warm-up and cool down will be available in the diving well (20 yards) throughout the meet. The meet will conclude by 5:00 pm.
 
Eligibility:  This is a USMS sanctioned meet with One Event (OEVT) membership allowed for KCCC swimmers. Therefore, you must be a member of USMS or purchase an OEVT membership to swim in this meet. You can purchase a OEVT membership ($15) when you register for the meet. If you choose OEVT, you will not be eligible for MOVY relays, MOVY/USMS records, or entry into the Breadbasket Zone Virtual Championship results/USMS rankings. We highly recommend joining USMS ($60) and Club MOVY to enjoy all the USMS meets and fitness events this year, access to USMS.org articles/workouts, SWIMMER mag, etc, also available when registering for the meet. 
 
Rules:  The current USMS rules will govern the conduct of the meet.  Heats will be seeded by time; slowest to fastest.  Please enter a goal/guess time for accurate seeding. Men and women of all ages will swim mixed according to ability. You might swim next to someone older or younger, man or woman, of approximately the same speed. Results will be broken out by age group and gender (i.e. Men/Women, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39 etc.). 
NOTE: Your age for this meet is your age on 04/10/2022.
 
Entry Fees:  USMS Members - $10.00 splash fee, plus $5 per event. KCCC (OEVT) Swimmers - $10 splash fee (plus $15 OEVT fee).  All late and deck entries are $50.00 and must be entered at check in prior to 11:30am. Credit cards are charged to "ClubAssistant.com Events" for this meet.
 
Limits:  Swimmers may swim up to six (6) events, plus relays.  Please be aware that this meet will run fast.  If you enter back-to-back events, your rest time may be very short (or nonexistent).  
 *** You may swim either the 1000 or 1650, not both. These events will be limited to the first 8 swimmers to register online and might be combined (the distance events fill up fast).
 
Deadline:  Register online by midnight Friday, April 8^th, 2022, for the early entry fee.  Late and deck entries will be accepted 11:00-11:30am, April 10^th at the $50.00 rate.
