Hey Kids! Get set to make a splash!
It’s the 20th Annual Big Swim®, 
a swimsational day of FREE fun swim races for 
Children ages 6 - 12!
Meet Olympic and elite swimmers and get fun free stuff! 
Everyone's a Winner!

• A free deep water swim meet for New York area kids ages 6-12.
• Meet Olympians and elite swimmers.
• Everyone's a winner! All swimmers in each age group will receive a medal, t-shirt and other goodies and the number one swimmer in each age group will get a special prize. (Members of an organized swim team are not eligible for this event.)
• Register online by midnight eastern time on April 23, 2015.

The Big Swim celebrates our Waterproofing program. Through Waterproofing, Asphalt Green provides free swim instruction and water safety to NYC public school children. Donations support Asphalt Green’s FIT KIDS FIT CITY campaign. This year, Asphalt Green’s will transform the lives of 31,000 New York City kids through sports and fitness through our free programs and scholarships. DIRECTIONS TO THE ASPHALT GREEN AQUACENTER
Location: 1750 York Avenue (91st Street)
Note: This is not the mailing address.
By Bus:
Take the M86 or M31 to 91st St. & York Ave.
By Subway:
Take the No. 4, 5 or 6 to 86th St. and Lexington Ave.
Walk to 91st St. and York Ave., or take the M86 crosstown bus to 91st St. and York Avenue.
By Car:
From Uptown: Travel south on the FDR Drive. Exit at 96th St.
Continue straight to York Ave. and 91st St.
From Downtown: Travel north on the FDR Drive. Exit at 96th St.
Turn left at the second stoplight (under the overpass).
Continue straight to York Ave. and 91st St.
Parking: Discounted parking is available at the Andover and Hamilton Garages.
(Andover– 1675 York Ave., between 88th & 89th Sts).
(Hamilton– 1735 York Ave., between 89th & 90th Sts).
Have your ticket validated upon check-in to receive the discount.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

• All children must be accompanied by a parent or adult guardian, or they will not be allowed to participate.
• The meet will be held in an 8-lane, 25-yard, deep water pool with lifeguard supervision on the pool deck.
• Bring your own swimsuit, towel, goggles and lock for a locker. Asphalt Green takes no responsibility for lost or stolen items.
• Spectators can watch all the Big Swim action from the stadium seats located on the second floor of the AquaCenter. (Parents/guardians are not permitted on the pool deck or locker room.)

PLEASE ARRIVE AT LEAST 30 MINUTES BEFORE THE CHECK IN TIME OF YOUR SESSION.

ALL SWIMMERS MUST CHECK IN & BE READY TO SWIM BEFORE THE MEET BEGINS.

EVENTS:

• All Events are held in DEEP WATER.
• One Event per swimmer only.
• Age is calculated as of April 25, 2015.
• Asphalt Green reserves the right to close any session due to maximum enrollment.
• Entries accepted on a first-come-first-served basis.
