Charles Brooks Community Swim Pool

Warm-up from 8:00 AM to 8:45 AM.  Meet will start at 9:00 AM.

CHECK IN: All pre-registered swimmers in the first event must be checked in by 8:30 AM.  Swimmers who deck enter the first two events must do so by 8:15 AM.  Swimmers in later events must check in at least thirty minutes before the estimated start of the event.  Check in is located just inside the main entrance to the pool.

ENTRIES: Entries are limited to a maximum of 5 individual events, excluding relays.  Individual event entries can be via on line; or deck enter the day of the meet. Relays are deck entry only and must be on official yellow relay entry cards.
To enter: Online entries accepted until 11:59 pm August 9, 2018.

To Deck Enter: All deck entries must be completed no later than 45 minutes prior to the start of the entered event. Swimmers who deck enter the first event must do so by 8:15 AM.

FEES:
On line Entry Event Fee: $6.25 Surcharge plus $4.20 per event.  The cost of the on line meet entry system is $1.00 per swimmer plus 5% of the events fee, which is included in the above fees.
Deck Entry: $10.00 surcharge plus $5 per event
Relays: $4.00 per event; deck entry only; no surcharge

FACILITY:  8 lane, 50M outdoor pool. The length of the competition course without a bulkhead is in compliance and on file with USMS in accordance with articles 105.1.7 and 106.2.1. Six or seven lanes will be used for competition, with one or two lanes available for warm-up / warm-down throughout the meet. The primary timing system will be semiautomatic timing with three buttons. Times can be submitted for USMS Top 10, but cannot be submitted for world records or USMS records

Parking:  Limited free parking is available in the high school lot adjacent to the pool. Additonal free parking in the high school lot on Beamer St. is also available. Avoid parking in the residential areas if possible.

DIRECTIONS:
From the Bay Area: Travel on Interstate 80 until reaching the turnoff for Highway 113 North (toward Woodland). Continue on 113 until merged with Highway 5 North. Exit on West St, and turn left. The swim center is on the right past Kentucky Ave. 

From the North of Sacramento: From Highway 5, exit on West St. and head South. The swim center is on the right past Kentucky Ave. 

RULES:  2018 USMS/PacMasters rules will govern the meet.  All swimmers must be registered with USMS for 2018. All relay team members must be affiliated with the same currently registered USMS club.  Participants will be asked to assist in back up timing.  Smoking is prohibited in the pool area.
