TIME: 12:00 p.m. warm up, 12:15 p.m. meet start

LOCATION: Hinsdale Community Pool, 500 W. Hinsdale Avenue, Hinsdale, IL 60521. (630) 789-7098

FACILITY: 8 lane, 50-meter competition pool. It is equipped with non-turbulent lane lines, permanent starting blocks, a horn start system with a strobe and automatic timing with touch pads. Seating capacity is 500. Starting depth at the east end of the pool is 5’0” and depth at the turn end is 3’6”. There is also a diving well within the pool grounds and it can be used only for warm-ups and cool-downs (no diving is permitted, feet-first entry only and all other warm-up and safety procedures.) The facility is owned and operated by the Village of Hinsdale. As necessary, staff at the facility will handle operational matters (pool cleanliness, storm closures, etc.). Please note that the Host Club does not control operational decisions.

The length of the competition course is not on file with USMS. Eligibility of times achieved in this meet will be contingent upon pool length measurement and approval with USMS; if bulkheads are present, their placement must also be confirmed by measurements at the meet. (USMS articles 105.1.7 and 107.2.1)

ELIGIBILITY: Must have previously competed in the HSC Mid-Summer Classic during the past 50 years. Must be over 18 years of age and a current USMS member*. In accordance with USMS rules, verification of membership registration must be provided with your entry, either copy of membership card or verified through online registration. *One-Event Membership to USMS with the Illinois LMSC is available for $20 for this swim meet only. Swimmers who do not want to join USMS for the entire year are permitted to buy the One-Event Membership to USMS during this online meet entry.

ENTRY OPTIONS: Entry fee is $25. 

ENTRY DEADLINE: Friday, June 21 at Midnight

MEET CONDUCT: 2019 USMS rules govern the conduct of the meet. All events will be hand-timed finals. Electronic timing equipment may be available. All events will be swum slowest to fastest. 

2019 Timing Regulations Effective with the 2019 USMS Rule Book: 

Official times set at this meet will be eligible for ILMSA Records, USMS Top Ten, USMS National Records, and FINA World Records, except times recorded only using manual backup timing are ineligible for FINA World Records.
