LOCATION: Oshkosh YMCA, 3303 West 20th Ave., Oshkosh, WI 54904

TIME: Doors open 7:30AM. Warm-up 8:00AM-8:45AM. Meet starts 9:00AM.

FACILITIES: 8 Lane, 25-yard fixed wall pool. The length of the competition course without a bulkhead is in compliance and on file with USMS in accordance with articles 105.1.7 and 106.2.1 (of the USMS Rule Book).

ELIGIBILITY: Open to all registered U.S. Masters Swimmers 18 years old or older. 
There are two membership options:

1. Annual USMS membership for swimmers good through 12/31/2020. A copy of the USMS registration card must accompany a mail-in entry.
2. One Event membership ($15.00). Online entry is required for One Event Memberships. Times swum under one-event registration are not eligible for USMS Top 10 or records consideration.

RULES: Official U.S. Masters Rules govern this meet. All events are timed finals.

SEEDING: Heats will be pre-seeded slowest to fastest, age groups and sexes combined.

TIMING:  Primary: Automatic electronic timing system (SST Console), Secondary: Semi-automatic two buttons, Tertiary: One watch.  The timing system is in compliance with the requirements for USMS Records and Top 10 consideration for swims.

WARM-UPS: Lane 8 will be a start/sprint lane in one direction only, exiting to the side or end. Lanes 1-7 will be circle swimming only. Swimmers must enter the pool feet first in a cautious and controlled manner. Diving and backstroke starts shall be permitted only in the designated lanes. No hand paddles are allowed. (USMS Rule 102.4.3)

ENTRY FEE: $5.00/individual event, plus a $15.00 pool surcharge. Online entries are paid by credit card to "ClubAssistant.com Events".  Deck entries for individual events will be accepted only until 8:15 AM and only for empty lanes. The fee for deck entries shall be $8.00/individual event plus the pool surcharge fee.

ENTRY LIMIT: Six (6) individual events plus relays. The 1000 freestyle will NOT be limited to the first xx entries received. The meet wants every swimmer that wants to swim the 1000 to be able to enter the 1000 freestyle. But, each swimmer entered in the 1000 will still be responsible for providing a person to count his/her laps.

ENTRY DEADLINE: Mail-in Entries must be in the Meet Directors hands no later than 6:00 PM, Saturday, January 18, 2020. Entries received after the deadline will be subject to the deck entry fee. On-Line entries close at 11:59pm on Thurs., Jan. 23, 2020.

ENTRY FORM: For Mail-in Entries, the official Universal Meet Entry Form (https://www.clubassistant.com/c/A0F3601/file/Docs/UNIVERSAL_ENTRY_FORM_.pdf) must be used, one person per form. The LIABILITY RELEASE (page 2) must be signed without alterations and submitted with the mail-in entry.

AWARDS: Ribbons for 1 st to 3 rd place.

SPECIAL ANIMAL AWARD for the swimmers who enter & finish option #1 or #2 (5 of the longest events) 

1. The 1000 freestyle, plus the choice of four of the following: 400 IM, 200 IM, 200 Fly, 200 BR, 200 Back or 200 Freestyle . OR
2. The 400 IM, plus the choice of four of the following: 200 IM, 200 Fly, 200 BR, 200 Back or 200 Freestyle

POST MEET: Red Robin Restaurant in Oshkosh (burgers, Tex-Mex, salads, etc.)

RESULTS: Meet results will be posted on the website: www.swim-wimasters.org and on the USMS Event Rankings soon after the meet.

DIRECTIONS:
From the North: Exit Hwy 41 at 9 th St. Turn right and proceed to the 4 way stop at Oakwood Rd. Turn left. Continue on Oakwood to the first set of lights which is 20 th Ave. Turn right. The YMCA will be ½ mile on the left.
From the South: Exit Hwy 41 at Hwy 44. Turn left and proceed over Hwy 41 to the second set of stop lights. Turn right On Washburn. Take Washburn to the first set of lights. Go left on 20 th Ave. The YMCA is about 1.5 miles on the left.
