2023 FAST Masters Spring Forward Meet
Hosted by FAST Masters at Edora Pool and Ice Center (EPIC) Fort Collins, Colorado on Sunday, March 12th

Warm up - 8:00am
Start - 9:00am

FAST Masters invite you to the 2023 FAST Masters Spring Forward Meet, to be held at Edora Pool and Ice Center. 1801 Riverside Drive, Fort Collins, CO 80525.  The pool is 50M x 25YD and will be set up with 10 x 25yd competition lanes and Colorado Electronic Timing System with backup timing and scoreboard readout will be used. Additional warm up lane once competition starts.  On-deck seating space will be available. We recommend bringing your own chairs if you plan to make use of on-deck seating areas.

TIMING: Electronic timing will be used for all events, with back-up pickles and hand-timing.

ELIGIBILITY: Only Masters Swimmers with 2023 USMS Registration or foreign equivalent may participate. Online USMS registration is available at https://www.usms.org/join. Contact the COMSA registrar at marcia.anziano@gmail.com with questions.

RULES: Current USMS Rules govern the competition, including a NO FALSE START RULE, and whistle alerts announcing the start of each race. Age on 03/12/2023 determines competition age.  Seeding will be done from slow to fast by time. Men and women will be seeded together and event results will be separated. Be sure to enter 25yd times on your registration.  All events are timed finals. No paddles, kick boards, or pull buoys are allowed during warm-ups. 

The length of the competition course is in compliance and on file with USMS in accordance with articles 105.1.7 and 107.2.1, but as a bulkhead course, is subject to length confirmation. Eligibility of times for USMS Top 10 and Records will be contingent on verification of bulkhead placement.

NUMBER OF ENTRIES: Entries are limited to 5 events.  ALL entries are to be submitted online, NO DECK ENTRIES.   You will need your Masters membership number for online entry.

RESULTS: Results will be posted by the Meet Director at the swim meet as soon as possible after each event.  Final results will be posted on the COMSA.org website.

AWARDS: No awards will be presented

ENTRY FEE: $25 surcharge per swimmer, $5 per event (max 5 events) - 1650 will have 2 heats/20 swimmer limit.

ENTRY CONFIRMATIONS: Your on-line entries will provide you with email verification of your entries.

• All events Women/Men seeded together, slow to fast.
• The 1650 Free has a limit of 2 heats (20 swimmer limit).
