2024 Lawrence Masters Neil Salkind Invitational Swim Meet

Warm-up 1pm, meet begins at 1:30pm

Meet Director:  Annette McDonald, kentmcdonald@usa.net  

Check-In and Warmup:  1:00pm.  Warmup continuously throughout the meet.

Meet Start Time:  1:30pm

Eligibility:  This is a USMS-sanctioned meet, therefore you must be a member of USMS to swim in the meet. If you are not currently registered, you may register ONLINE at https://www.usms.org/join-usms/join-or-renew. 

Entry Fees:  Cost of the meet is $40 for online entries.  Your credit card will show a charge from "ClubAssistant.com Events."

T-Shirts:  Meet T-shirts, either short-sleeve or long-sleeve, may be ordered during meet entry.  Cutoff date to order T-shirts is January 9.  Shirts are Unisex sizing, 100% cotton.

Entry Deadline:  Online registration deadline is Thursday, January 18, at 11:59pm.

Late and Deck entries:  will be available for $65 until 1:15pm on Sunday, January 21st.  Cash or check payment only, on deck. 

Pool Length Certification:  The length of the competition course without a bulkhead is in compliance and on file with USMS in accordance with articles 105.1.7 and 106.2.1.

Timing System:  The primary timing system will be automatic electronic timing. Each lane will have backup timers.  Times can be submitted for USMS records and USMS Top 10 consideration (but not for world records).

Rules:  The current USMS rules will govern the conduct of the meet.  Heats will be seeded slowest to fastest.  Please enter a goal time for accurate seeding. Entries with no times will be seeded in the slowest heats. Men and women of all ages will swim mixed. Results will be broken out by age group and gender (i.e. Men/Women, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39 etc.).  

Note: Your age for this meet is your age on January 21, 2024.

Relays:  Relays may be all men, all women, or mixed (two men, two women).  For relays to be official, relay teams must be composed of USMS  members of the same club.

Swimmers not reporting for events will be scratched.  NO REFUNDS.
