Mission Viejo Nadadores Patrick Moore Memorial Swim Meet

Facility: Mission Viejo Pool is an outdoor, 25-yd. by 50-m competition pool at the Marguerite Aquatic Center, 27474 Casa Del Sol, Mission Viejo. The length of the competition course, without a bulkhead complies with USMS Rule 105.1.7 and is on file with USMS.

Directions & Parking: From the north or south, take the I-5 Freeway to the Alicia Parkway exit in Mission Viejo. Go east (away from the ocean) to Trabuco Road. Turn right on Trabuco to Marguerite Parkway. Go left on Marguerite to Casa Del Sol, turn right onto Casa Del Sol, and turn into the driveway for pool parking.

Timing System: The primary timing system will be fully automatic. Times may be submitted for World & USMS records and Top 10 consideration.

Rules: USMS rules will govern. Current SPMS meet procedures will be enforced and take precedence over any errors or omissions on this entry form. Age on December 31, 2021, determines age for the meet. You must be at least 18 to compete. Swimmers are limited to entering a total of 6 individual events. 

Entries: A total of 200 entrants maximum will be allowed. The 800 and 1500 Freestyle will each be limited to 32 swimmers. If the meet is deemed too large, all athletes’ sixth events will be dropped. During the online entry, please indicate your sixth event. $35.00 per swimmer flat fee for online entries until midnight PDT on Wednesday, July 7. Late online entries will be allowed for $40.00 until 5:00 PM PDT on Friday, July 9. Deck entries are not allowed. Enter online at Club Assistant Online Entries. All swimmers must complete the USMS Liability Waiver prior to competition.

Seeding: All events will be deck seeded slowest to fastest, by entered time, ages and sexes combined. Check-in is not required to be deck seeded, except swimmers must check in to swim the 400, 800 and 1500m Freestyle and the 400 Individual Medley.

Relays: All relays will be deck entered on SPMS relay forms. Relays are free. For each relay swimmer who is not entered in individual events, a fee of $15.00 and a signed liability release must be submitted prior to the start of event number 1. A swimmer may swim only one relay in event #14 and one relay in event #18.

Awards: Individual: MVN ribbons for places 1 to 3. Relay: MVN ribbons for first place

Snack Bar: No snacks or food will be available for purchase.

Spectator Policy: The updated spectator policy will be sent out to participants.

15 Gift Cards each worth $35.00 will be given out overall for both the Prime Number and Matching Entry Time contests.

Prime Number Awards

The first swimmer to swim a time ending in .02 wins a $35 gift card. Then the next swimmer to swim a time ending in .03 wins. The first 15 prime numbers are: 2, 3, 5, 7, 11, 13, 17, 19, 23, 29, 31, 37, 41, 43, 47.

Matching Entry Time Awards

If your entry time exactly matches your official result time you win a $35 gift card.

Drawing for Gift Cards

Any of the 15 gift cards that are not awarded through the Prime Number or Matching Time contests, will be given out at a drawing, held at the conclusion of the 1500 Free. You must be present to win. Each entrant will receive a drawing ticket for each legal result in an individual event .
