Benefits
- Improve stroke technique for fitness and/or competition.
- Improve your fitness, endurance, efficiency, and speed.
- Reduce risk of injury caused by poor technique.
Session 1: Swim Clinic 8:30 am - 10:00 am (IAM Members - $35, Non-IAM Members - $50)
Participants will focus on the freestyle stroke. This session will include both on deck and in-water instruction. Areas covered include:
- body alignment
- kick
- entry
- pull
- recovery
- head and hip position
- Timing
- Breathing
Participants will be recorded both above and below water while swimming freestyle in this session. A few weeks after the clinic, participants will receive a custom video swim analysis including video, spoken, and written feedback evaluating specific components of their stroke. An optional one-on-one feedback session is available for those who wish to meet with the coach at a pool to discuss and go through their evaluation.

Indy Aquatic Masters (IAM) Members
- $35 - Freestyle Swim Clinic (Freestyle - Session 1)
- $100 – Swim Analysis Video Recording (Freestyle - Session 2)
- $25 - In-person Video Analysis Feedback session (scheduled with the coach at your convenience)
- $50 - Freestyle Swim Clinic (Freestyle - Session 1)
- $150 - Swim Analysis Video Recording (Freestyle - Session 2)
You may register for Session 1 and/or Session 2. ALL PARTICIPANTS ARE ENCOURAGED TO BRING FINS AND HAND PADDLES IF YOU HAVE THEM!
- IAM Members use Returning User Log-in below to register. If you do not remember your login, click the Login Help.
- Non-IAM Members use Non-Member Sign-up to register. You will need to complete a U.S. Masters Swimming waiver prior to the event in order to participate. Please complete and email to info@indyaquaticmasters.com or bring to the clinic.
