Instructor Certification Adult Learn to Swim
U.S. Masters Swimming is hosting a USMS ALTS instructor certification course on Sunday, October 3, 2021, Davis, CA.

Check-in: 8:30 - 9:00 a.m.
Classroom instruction: 9:00 a.m.- 1:00 p.m.
Lunch: 12:30 p.m.*
In-water pool instruction: 1-3 p.m.
*Due to COVID concerns, only pre-packaged snacks, water, and Starbucks boxed coffee provided. Attendees will be responsible for their own, special dietary needs and more substantial lunch if desired.

Cokie Lepinski has founded and coached two Masters teams. She was named Coach of the Year by US Masters Swimming in 2014; received the Dorothy Donnelly award in 2014, the USMS Kerry O’Brien award in 2010 and the Pacific Masters Coach of the Year award in2011. Passionate about stroke technique, Cokie continues to coach stroke clinics and write articles for USMS.
ALTS Prerequisites
You must be a current USMS member to participate in the course and receive USMS ALTS Instructor certification. You must be able to perform the following five water-competency skills:
