Instructor Certification Adult Learn to Swim
U.S. Masters Swimming is hosting a USMS ALTS instructor certification course on Sunday, May 22, 2022 in Westmont, IL.

Check-in: 7:30 - 8:00 a.m.
Classroom instruction: 8:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Lunch: 1:00 p.m.*
In-water pool instruction: 1:30 - 3:30 p.m.
*Due to COVID concerns, attendees will be responsible for their own refreshments and snacks/lunch.

Instructor:
Lisa Brown is a lead USMS-certified Adult Learn-to-Swim instructor and USMS Level 3 Certified Coach. She is founder and head coach of Zionsville Aquatic Masters and aquatics director of Zionsville Aquatic Center in Indiana. Lisa is an accomplished and experienced competitive swimmer, including in open water events. She has multiple Big Shoulders and Manhattan Pier-to-Pier swims to her credit, as well as 25K and 10K USMS National Championship swims. Lisa’s professional background includes several certifications in training and development. Now she applies that corporate experience to helping fellow swimmers achieve their fitness and competitive goals.
ALTS Prerequisites:
You must be a current USMS member to participate in the course and receive USMS ALTS Instructor certification. You must be able to perform the following five water-competency skills:
