Boys HS Winter Program 2019-2020

December 2, 2019 - February 5, 2020
*No Practice December 21- January 3rd
Conditioning practice will run December 2rd- January 30th

Cost- $415 early registration prior to November 15th
        (Fee will increases to $465 after November 15th)
Billing will be processed on December 9th.  You may drop from the program prior to Dec 9th without financial commitment.  We would like to ensure that everyone is satisfied with the program prior to billing.

Program Fee includes water polo AND conditioning practices (pool rents, heat, coaches, equipment, etc.), insurance and games (entry fees, pool rent, officials, coaches). 

Participants need to be USA Water Polo members to play in games and outside of practices with other clubs.  Athletes only interested in improving at practice will be covered by our private insurance that we have secured for all Winter Program participants.  USWP membership will still be required for any athletes participating in tournaments/games.

REGISTRATION PRIOR TO FIRST PRACTICE

SPACE IS LIMITED.  Registrations received will be accepted on a space available basis.  Please register early as it allows us to assign athletes to practice groups and properly staff all practices and tournaments.  We appreciate your consideration.

Practices: Rio Americano HS, Jesuit HS, and American River College
Boys: Monday and Wednesday Water Polo Practice
          16U @ Jesuit HS 3:30-5:15p OR Rio Americano HS 7:15-9:00p*
          18U (and 16U 'A') @ American River College 6:30-8:15p
           Tuesday and Thursday Conditioning
           All @ Rio Americano HS 4:00-5:30p OR 5:30-7:00p

*16U Boys will be assigned a practice group upon registration; if you have a strong preference of practice time, please indicate that in the Notes upon registering.

**Conditioning will go from Dec 2nd- Jan 30
        Tues/Thurs at Rio Americano HS - 3:30-5:00p AND 5:30-7:00p

Athletes ONLY interested in conditioning are welcome to participate
         Mon-Thurs (Cost $100)
         Mon-Wed practices at Jesuit 5:30-7:00p
         Tue-Thurs @ Rio Americano HS 3:30-5:00 AND 5:30-7:00p

Practice schedule above is subject to change due to enrollment and pool availability.

Games/Tournaments - All participants can compete in games/tournaments. 
Competition Dates:  Exact dates and times TBA *USWP Membership is necessary to play in tournaments.
      December 14 or 15 - Inter-squad games
      2 x play dates in January- tournament games
      1st week in February - tournament games

Kap7 or Winterfest Travel Tournament**: February 7-9 (Second weekend)
*"Travel" tournaments (for which the team will need to travel out of the area and spend the night) will be planned as far in advance as possible and only athletes participating will be charged a tournament trip fee (to cover entry fee and coaches' costs; and athlete costs if the team travels and lodges together).

No refunds after December 4th. Payment plans are available upon request but arrangement of a payment does not imply a reduction in the program fee. Scholarships are available in limited circumstances. Any payment arrangements must be requested in writing or via email our Registrar at arwpc.registrar@gmail.com
