Fall/Winter Competitive Girls 12U/14U

Program Fee is $415. Fee includes all practices and games (pool rent, entry fees, coaches, equipment). Participants must also be registered with USA Water Polo.

Prior experience with American River WPC is not required, though some water polo experience is recommended. Good swimming ability is a must. Athletes that are unsure if they will be able to keep up or if they will enjoy this level of water polo are encouraged to register and attend the first practice. There is a maximum number of spots available for each age group and registration does not guarantee a spot on the roster; we will try to avoid making cuts by creating additional teams in affected age groups. These teams are a great place to start if your athlete would like to play in high school.  With this training they will develop skills and confidence that will carry them into their high school careers.

**With the huge numbers we have had to add more practice time and change some facilities to accomodate all of our athletes in past years, we hope to get there again.

Practices: At Rio Americano High School (4540 Americano River Dr., Sacramento, CA 95864).

October 13-November 17: 
12/14U Girls: Wednesdays from 5:30-7:00pm @ Rio Americano
                      Sundays from 3:00-5:00pm @ Rio Americano
12/14U Boys:  Wednesdays from 5:30-7:00pm @ Rio Americano
                       Sundays from 3:00-5:00pm @ Rio Americano
                       *If we have huge numbers we will add a practice group

November 29-February 10
12/14U Girls: Tuesday and Thursday from 5:30-7:15p @ Rio Americano
12/14U Boys:  Mondays and Wednesdays from 5:30-7:15p at Rio Americano
                        *Some boys will be asked to practice 7:15-9:00p

No Practices November 22-24 (Thanksgiving) and December 20-December 31 (Christmas/New Year).

Games/Tournaments: (Dates are subject to change, times TBD)

Teams will be entered into regional tournaments; dates TBA

**Kap7 or Winterfest Travel Tournament**: February 11-14 (Irvine, CA)

*"Travel" tournaments (for which the team will need to travel out of the area and spend the night) will be planned as far in advance as possible and only athletes participating will be charged a tournament trip fee (to cover entry fee and coaches' costs; and athlete costs if the team travels and lodges together).

All athletes must be USWP registered.  Please register for the 2021 year, all registrations after Nov 1st count for the next year.  Please look into a trial prior to the Nov 1st date to cover the gap.

No refunds after October 22nd. Payment plans are available upon request but arrangement of a payment does not imply a reduction in the program fee. Scholarships are available in limited circumstances. Any payment arrangements must be requested in writing or via email to Rachel at Rachelr@arwpc.com
