The two day 2018 Twinsburg SCY swim meet will be held at the Twinsburg Fitness Center, 10084 Ravenna Road, Twinsburg, Ohio.  The pool is an 6 lane, 25 yard pool with antiturbulent lane lines and automatic timing.  There is ample space for warm ups in an adjacent pool.  If the adjacent pool is not available, warn ups during the meet will be in the sixth lane.  The length of the competition course without a bulkhead is in compliance and is on file with USMS in accordance with articles 105.1.7 and 107.2.1.  The primary timing system will be a Colorado 6 timing system with touchpad finishes.  Times may be submitted for USMS records and USMS Top 10 times.  Events on Saturday will include a 1,000 and 1,650 yard freestyle event.  Events swum on Saturday will be scored with events on Sunday.  We offer events on late Saturday afternoon to allow people to swim events that would otherwise be too close together on Sunday.  An event swum on Saturday may not be repeated the next day. 

The pool and fitness center is operated by the city of Twinsburg and is attached to the south end of Twinsburg High School.    Park in the southwest corner parking lot.  The entrance to the fitness center is adjacent to the parking lot. 

2018 U.S. Masters swimming rules will govern conduct of the meet.  Because of insurance requirements, all swimmers must be registered U.S. Masters swimmers.  If not registered, swimmers can register online with USMS after the entry due date or at the meet, but swimmers must be USMS registered before swimming any events.  One event registrations are allowed.  The USMS release of liability must be signed electronically during online meet entry or must be signed on paper for mailed entries.  Please sent a copy of your USMS card with your mailed entry.  Relay only swimmers need only complete the entry form.  Relays are free. 

Age of swimmers on March 10, 2018 will determine age group.  For relays, the age group is determined by the youngest swimmer.  Only swimmers from registered clubs can enter relays.  All relays can be swum with 4 women, 4 men or mixed (2 women and 2 men)

Swimmers are limited to six individual events per day plus relays.  There is no limit to the number of relays entered.  Swimmers over entered will be removed from their latest event on each day over entered. 

Heats will be formed by submitted times, regardles of age or sex and will progress from fast to slow to 'no time' and deck entries.
