The in-person 2020 Maryland Swim for Life has been cancelled due to COVID-19 and concern for the well-being of our community. In its place we are offering a virtual swim and fundraiser for our charities.

Hosted by District of Columbia Aquatics Club

2.5K, 5K, 7.5K Swims and 1.2M and 2.4M Triathlon Swims

Note: Everyone is welcome to complete the swims on their own and submit their times by September 19, 2020. To be eligible for awards, each swimmer must contribute a minimum of $100 in pledges. Everyone is eligible to participate at a lesser amount.

Proceeds from the Virtual Swim for Life supports four local nonprofits whose mission statements include environmental, medical, health, wellness and fitness advocacy.

Online Registration and Fundraising powered by ClubAssistant.com

REGISTRATION: If you are able to contribute the $100 donation, you can use that function in registration. If you would like to contribute a lesser amount, use the 'additional donation' function. Online entries are paid by credit card to "ClubAssistant.com Events". Online registration will close at 11:59 pm eastern daylight time on Friday September 18, 2020.

FUNDRAISING/AWARDS: Each swimmer can fundraise along with submitting their times by midnight on September 19, 2020. To be eligible for awards, each swimmer must raise a minimum of $100 in pledges. A special prize will be awarded to the top fundraiser based on pledges submitted by September 19, 2020. You can direct your sponsors to the online donation option. Pledge checks can be made payable to “DCAC Swim for Life.”

The top times, male and female, in each distance will receive a recognition award.

Funds raised are distributed to our charities: Heart to Hand, Inc., Quality of Life Retreats, ShoreRivers and District of Columbia Aquatics Club.

SUBMITTING TIMES: Please submit your time and and indicate your distance by midnight on September 19, 2020 to swimforlife@swimdcac.org
