Location:   CLOVIS NORTH AQUATICS COMPLEX (CLOVIS NORTH HIGH SCHOOL) 2770 E. International Ave., Fresno, CA 93730.

Directions:    

• From the North: From Highway 99 exit onto Herndon Avenue. Go east on Herndon to Willow, north on Willow to the corner of Willow & International. Continue on Willow to the north end of the campus and turn left at the tennis courts. Drop off at the pool entrance and continue to Chestnut (left) and left into the parking lot.
• From the South: From Highway 99, go north on Highway 41. Exit from Highway 41 onto Herndon Avenue. Go east on Herndon to Willow, north on Willow to the corner of Willow & International. Continue on Willow to the north end of the campus and turn left at the tennis courts. Drop off at the pool entrance and continue to Chestnut (left) and left into the parking lot.

Facility:    Two 50 M x 25 Y outdoor pools. The main competition pool has a uniform depth of 7 ft. One 10-lane or two 8-lane courses are available. The adjacent multi-purpose pool has an 18-lane 25 Y course for continuous warm up and warm down. The competition course has been certified in accordance with 104.2.2C(4). The copy of such certification is on file with USA Swimming.  

Events:    A maximum of 6 events may be selected.  Events are listed below.  First event will start at 9:00am

Time:    Sunday, March 19, 2023.  Warm up begins at 7:30am.  Meet begins at 9:00am.  Check in for the 500 will begin at 7:45am and will close approximately 1 hour before the start of the event.

Rules and Eligibility:    Current USMS rules will govern the meet.  All participants must be 18 or older as of the day of the meet and be currently registered members of USMS.  Foreign masters swimmers must provide proof of current membership in their country’s Masters Swimming governing body.

Online Entries:    Online entries will be allowed using Clubassistant.com.  Link will be available soon.  The deadline for online entries will be Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at midnight.  Payment can be collected by credit card thru Clubassistant.  Your credit card statement will reflect a charge from “ClubAssistant.com Events”

Mailed Entries:    Mailed entries will be accepted using the Pacific Masters consolidated entry form:

    All mailed entries must be received by Tuesday, March 14, 2023 by midnight, regardless of postmark date.  No refunds.  Mailed entries along with payment by check to “CUSD” must be sent to the following address:

Deck Entries:    No Deck Entries will be allowed.

Fees:    Base entry surcharge for all participants is $20.00, plus $5.00 per individual event.  Refunds will only be given if the event is cancelled.  Payment can 

Check In:    Events 1-30 will not require check in.  Those events will be pre-seeded before the day of the meet.  Events 31 and 32, the men’s and women’s 500y freestyle events, will require check in.  Check in for those events will be available at the Clerk of Course, beginning 7:45am and ending approximately 1 hour before the start of those events.  Athletes who do not check in for events 31 and 32 will not be seeded and will not be allowed to compete in those events.  

Seeding:    Events are seeded by entry times, fastest to slowest, regardless of age.  Events 1-30 will be preseeded.  Heat sheets for those events will be posted on the Clovis Swim Club website:  www.clovisswimclub.org and emailed in advance to those who completed an online entry.  Events 31 and 32 will be deck seeded.  The heat sheets will be posted no later than 30 minutes before the start of the event.

Scratches:    There is no penalty for no-show events for this competition.  There will be no scratch desk or scratch table.  

Awards:    Medals for places 1st through 3rd will be offered in each event to both genders as follows:
    18-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84, 85-89, 90+

Psych Sheet:    A psych sheet will be posted online prior to the meet at the Clovis Swim Club website:  www.clovisswimclub.org 

Hospitality:    Hospitality (light snacks and beverages) will be provided to officials, coaches, and all meet staff.  There will be a snack bar on deck for participants.

• The use of any propane heater(s) is strictly prohibited anywhere at this venue. 
• The sale and use of alcoholic beverages is prohibited in all areas of meet venue.
• The presence and use of tobacco products, including vaping, is prohibited on CUSD property.
• Overnight parking is not allowed on CUSD property.
