US Masters Swimming in cooperation with Oregon Masters Swimming is sponsoring a stroke development and improvement clinic for swimmers of all abilities to tune up their stroke before the winter training.Swimmers are not required to swim all strokes and may work on only those strokes they choose but they must be able to swim a minimum of 100 yards comfortably. This is not a learn to swim class.

Saturday January 7^th, 2023, 1 to 4 PM: Freestyle and Backstroke.
The clinic will start with one hour in a classroom reviewing the key points of the strokes, followed by 2 hours in the pool. Colette CRABBE, USMS coach and fitness chair of OMS will lead the clinic with the help of other experienced local swimmers and coaches.

Location: Clark County YMCA: 11324 NE 51^st Circle, Vancouver, WA 98682

Cost: $20 per clinic for 2023 registered USMS member.

This is a USMS sponsored event, every swimmer needs to be registered with USMS to be able to register. One Event Registration is available.

Option #1 (strongly recommended): register or renew for 2023 with USMS before December 31 for $65, or $ 70, thereafter. The yearly membership will give you access to any USMS events, such as clinic, swim meets, fitness or virtual events as well as access to their website, newsletters, workouts library and a multitude of technical tips and articles.

Option #2: register for a one-day event for $20 per clinic.

Equipment: Please bring your suit, goggles, fins, and a towel. Fins are necessary because without them many of the drills may be difficult. If you want to be filmed, bring your phone or I-pad.

Registration: Registration closes at midnight pacific time on Friday, January 6^th, 2023, or when the clinic enrollment reaches 20.
