Facility: Asphalt Green Aquatic Center, located between 90th-92nd Streets and York Avenue in Manhattan. The entrance to the Asphalt Green AquaCenter is at 1750 York Avenue (at 91st Street). This will be an eight lane by twenty five meter competition course, with adjacent twenty yard continuous warm up and warm down space.

Directions:

• By Bus: Take the M86 or M31 to the York Avenue and 91st Street stop. The AquaCenter is across the street.
• By Subway: Lexington Avenue 4, 5, or 6 train to 86th Street station. Walk east to York Avenue and north to 91st Street.
• By Car From Uptown: Travel south on the FDR Drive. Exit at 96th Street, and continue straight to York Avenue.
• By Car From Downtown: Travel north on FDR Drive to 96th Street exit. Turn left at second stoplight. Continue straight to York Avenue.

Discounted parking for swim meet participants available at The Andover Garage, 1675 York Avenue between 88th and 89th Streets, and at The Hamilton Garage, 1735 York Avenue between 89th and 90th Streets. Validate parking ticket at pool front desk.

Eligibility: Open to all 2012 or 2013 USMS-registered swimmers age 18 and older regardless of Club or LMSC affiliation or residency. Age determination date for this meet is December 31, 2012. Note: You cannot register with USMS until you are 18 years old.

Rules: 2012 USMS rules govern this meet. NO DIVING permitted during warm-up except for designated one-way sprint lanes. Swimmers must enter the water in a cautious and controlled manner. Failure to comply with no diving rule may result in expulsion from meet.

Schedule: Check-In: 4:30-5:15PM / Warm-Up: 5:00-5:40PM / Start: 5:50PM / Finish: No later than 8:00PM.

Check-In:  Positive check-in required for all events. Check-in will begin at 4:30PM and ends at 5:15PM.

Seeding: Swimmers will be seeded in heats according to entry time, not by age or gender. Heats will be contested slowest to fastest; "NT" (no time) entries will be seeded in the first heat of an event. All events will be seeded on event day after swimmer check-in has closed at 5:15PM with heats sheets posted on pool deck.

Entry Limit: Each swimmer is permitted to enter and swim a maximum of four (4) individual events.

Entry Times: Enter SHORT COURSE METER times for all events. An online entry time utility to calculate SCM times is available at:

Split Times: Any swimmer who intends to post a USMS top ten, USMS national record or FINA world record split time must submit official split time request in writing to computer table prior to conclusion of meet. Official split time request forms will be available at meet. Note: Initial backstroke split requests must be submitted PRIOR to swim.

Deadline: Online registration CLOSES at 11:59PM ET on Thursday, December 6, 2012. Mail-in entry RECEIPT (not postmark) deadline is Monday, December 3, 2012. No late, email, phone or fax entries accepted - no exceptions.

Entry Fee: $25.00 flat individual entry fee.

Register: Online meet registration with a credit card is strongly recommended for convenience and accuracy. Credit card statement will reflect a charge by "ClubAssistant.com Events". Entry fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. Register for this meet online until 11:59PM ET on Thursday, December 6, 2012

Commemorative T-Shirts:  Each participant will receive a commemorative SCM Champs T-shirt.

Food: With the exception of plastic bottled water or sports drinks, facility management prohibits food and beverages on pool deck or in locker rooms. A full-service café is located on the second level of the aquatic center, and there are multiple water fountains on pool deck.

Results: Results will be posted online within 48 hours of meet conclusion at www.metroswim.org and www.aguamasters.org
