EVENT: The Brute Squad events - 200 yd Butterfly, 400 yd IM and 1650 yd Free
              The Brute Squad Lite events - 100 yd Butterfly, 200 yd IM and 500 yd Free


COMPETITION:
1. All 3 events must be swum in this specific order; 200 yd Fly, 400 yd IM, 1650 yd Free or 100 yd Fly, 200 yd IM, 500 yd Free
2. The recorded time begins at the start of the 200yd Fly and ends at the finish of the 1650 yd Free. Resting time between swims is included in the cumulative time.
3. Swimmers may rest between events as long as desired, provided Rule 2 is followed.
4. Results are based on cumulative times.

DATE: The Brute Squad must be swum between Oct 1 and Nov 30, 2020. All individual entries must be submitted by Dec 10, 2020.

LOCATION: You may swim the Brute Squad in any 25-yard length pool.

ELIGIBILITY: This is a USMS-sanctioned event and all participants must be registered for 2020 or 2021 with USMS. Your USMS membership will be verified during online event entry.

FEES: $10.00 for each individual entry. Sign up online at Club Assistant, paying with credit card to "ClubAssistant.com Events". Fees are non-refundable.

RULES: Due to the myriad of facility protocols affecting clubs and members throughout the country, the 2020 Brute Squad has a new set of rules.

• Swim the event first, then enter your final time online. No splits are needed.
• No more than two swimmers may share a lane. If a lane is shared, each swimmer must stay on his or her side of the lane during the entire race (i.e. no circle swimming). 
• You may time yourself, OR have someone record your time. As the event this year is based on the honor system, results from 2020 swims will not be included in event records or top time lists. 
• Paricipants must follow their facility guidelines for physical distancing and COVID-19 precautions during the event. For your reference, the CDC guidelines for aquatic venues can be found at https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/community/parks-rec/aquatic-venues.html.

AWARDS: Custom awards presented to the winner in each age group and gender.
