JJ Hill Days 

2-Mile & 1-Mile Open Water Races

SWIMMER ELIGIBILITY: Must be USMS Registered (www.usms.org/reg) or Pay $25.00 One Event fee plus registration fees. Sanctioned by Minnesota LMSC for USMS Inc." (Article 203.3.3)

SAFETY: Positive check in will be required for swimmers prior to the start of the race. Failure to abide by this will result in disqualification. Swim caps will be provided and MUST be worn.

ENTRY FEE: JJ. Hill Stage (2 mile, 1 mile, or both)  
     - Through May 24:  $40 one swim, $65 both
     - May 25 - May 31:  $45 one swim, $70 both
     - June 1 - Aug 31:  $50 one swim, $75 both
     - Sept. 1 - Sept. 6:  $55 one swim, $80 both
     - Sept. 7 (race day):  $65 one swim, $90 both & USMS Card at beach

•  Online Registration Deadline is midnight, Thursday September 10th.(Sunday Sept 1 for a T-Shirt)
•  Event is Limited to first 100 swimmers registered.
•  Race day registration ($75.00ea/$120.00 both & USMS Card at beach)

COURSE & DISTANCE: The 2Mile race will start at Wayzata Beach and head South toward Excelsior to Spirit Island; round buoy (Clockwise) then return to Beach. The 1Mile race will be head towards Spirit Island but turn around halfway at buoy. It is likely that you will encounter an occasional patch of weeds. The course will be patrolled with safety boats. Escorts for swimmer are not permitted. No hand paddles, buoys, fins or other such swimming aids. Use of wetsuits or swimsuits that are made of fabric that provides flotation or flotation devices will be permitted, but not eligible for awards.

The 2-Mile course will be closed at approximately 9:00am and the 1-Mile course at 10:15am. Course will be marked with orange buoys.

SWIMMER ELIGIBILITY: Must be USMS Registered (www.usms.org/reg) or USA Swimming.

PARKING: Public parking Wayzata Beach – abide by posted parking restrictions.

Half Marathon participants must compete in the 2-mile to be eligible for TCOWHM awards.
