Sanction: Sanctioned by Niagara District Masters Swimming for USMS Inc. #040-S005

Location: Alumni Arena Pool located on University at Buffalo’s North Campus. If using a GPS, enter “University at Buffalo Flint Entrance, Amherst, NY 14260”. The facility is a 16-lane 50 meter by 25 yard venue with separate diving well. The primary timing system will be automatic timing(Colorado Timing System). The length of the competition course without a bulkhead is in compliance and on file with USMS in accordance with articles 105.1.7 and 107.2.1. The competition will take place in eight short course yards lanes. Separate warm-up space will be available throughout the duration of the meet. Heats for the 1000 and 1650 events may be run concurrently in two separate 6-lane courses with a delay of 1 minute between heats. Warm-up will be available in the diving well duriing these events. There will be a 10 minute warmup period in the main pool following the 1000.
           
Time: Meet registration will begin at 9:00 am followed by a 9:30 am warm-up and 10:30 am meet start.

Eligibility: Open to all curretly registered USMS/MSC swimmers 18 and older as of March 21, 2020. 2020 Registration is required.

OEVT registration is available for this meet at a reduced cost of $15. Swimmers are encouraged to have the annual USMS registration (http://www.usms.org/reg/).  Times for One-Event swimmers do not count for USMS or Niagara District records or USMS Top Ten recognition.

Fees: Each USMS swimmer must pay a $35 entry fee.

Entries: Each swimmer may enter up to six individual events and the one relay. All entries must be submitted by Thursday March 19, 2020, midnight. No deck entries will be accepted with the exception of relays.

Seeding: Events will be swum slowest to fastest EXCEPT the 400 IM, 1000 Free and 1650 Free will be seeded fastest to slowest. All swimmers must check-in upon arrival, and positive check-in is required for the 400 IM, 500 Freestyle, 1000 Freestyle and 1650 Freestyle. 200 Medley Relay will be deck-seeded and must be entered by the start of the 100 breaststroke. Men's and Women's heats will be combined. There will be a 10 minute break after Events 9 and 14.

Prizes: The top 3 finishers for each event for men & women will be awarded a prize.There will be a special award for the fastest woman and man in the 1650 Freestyle.

Entry Procedure: Online entries ONLY will be accepted. Your credit card will be charged by ‘Club Assistant.com Events’ Online entries will close at midnight, Thursday March 19, 2020.
