COVID PROTOCOL:
All current protocols at the time of the meet will be followed. At this time, the Baraboo School District is requiring masks in all buildings. Also, check the Wisconsin Masters website for implemented COVID protocols. www.wisconsinmastersswimming.com With protocols in place, swimmers, spectators, or officials that cannot conform to the protocols will not be allowed in the venue.
There are no refunds for entry fees.
TIME:
Sunday November 7, 2021, Warm-up 10:00AM, meet starts at 11:00AM.
Doors will open at 9:30AM.
FACILITIES:
8 lanes, 25-yard pool with anti-turbulent lane guides, starting blocks and backstroke flags. The length of the competition course, without a bulkhead, is in compliance and on file with USMS in accordance with
articles 105.1.7 and 106.2.1.
ELIGIBILITY:
There are two options for eligibility.
Option 1: Open to all Masters Swimmers 18 years old or older. All entrants must be a registered Masters Swimmer and the USMS number must be on the entry. Each entry must be accompanied by a copy of the swimmers 2021 USMS registration card.
Option 2: One Event Membership. Online registration is required for One Event Membership. Times swam under One Event Membership are not eligible for USMS top ten records consideration. One Event Memberships are not eligible for USMS or Wisconsin records (individual or relay), All-American consideration, or All-Star consideration.
RULES SEEDING:
Official Masters Rules will govern this meet. All events will be timed finals. Heats will be seeded slowest to fastest by computer. Please submit a reasonably accurate seed time, a NO TIME will be seeded in the slowest heat. Age groups and sexes will be combined to expedite the meet.
TIMING:
Electronic timing: Colorado Timing System (primary: automatic) backed up by two buttons (secondary: semi-automatic) and one watch (tertiary). This level of timing meets requirements for setting USMS records.
WARM-UP PROCEDURE:
Lane 4 will be a start and sprint lane with swimming in one direction only and exiting to the side or end. Lanes 1-3 and 5-8 will be for circle swimming only. NO DIVING STARTS from the blocks or the deck in lanes 1-3 or 5-8. Swimmers must enter the pool feet first in a cautious manner during warm up. Hand paddles, kickboards, fins, etc., may not be used at any time during the warm up. Lane 8 will be the designated lane for warm-up/warm down during the meet.
No jumping, diving or socializing in lane 8 while the meet is in progress.
ENTRY FEE ON-LINE:
$6.00 per individual event, plus a $15.00 pool surcharge. No Charge for relays. Online entries are paid by credit card to "ClubAssistant.com Events". Relay-only swimmers must enter the meet with no events, sign the waiver and pay the facility fee. Will accept on deck enteries.
One Event Entries $30.00 plus $6.00 per event.
There are no refunds of entry fees.

The Wisconsin LMSC has agreed to the use of ON-LINE meet entries thru Club Assistant for meets in Wisconsin. The link for this meet is:

Deck entries for individual events will be accepted until 10:15 am.

Six individual events per day plus relays. The 1000 Freestyle will be limited to the first 14 entries received. Each person entered in the 1000 freestyle will be responsible for providing a person to count his or her laps.

For mail in enteries, the universal entry form must be used, one person per form. The LIABILITY RELEASE must be signed without any alterations. Remember to include a copy of your USMS registration card.

In the past after the swim meet, we have had a small social at Baraboo Burger
Company, 116 4th Ave. Baraboo WI. Please tentatively plan on going with us for food and
refreshments after the swim meet.
