Sanction by Southern Pacific Masters Swimming for USMS, Inc. #331-S004

Facility: Mission Viejo Pool is an outdoor, 25-yd. by 50-m competition pool at the Marguerite Aquatic Center, 27474 Casta Del Sol, Mission Viejo. The length of the competition course without a bulkhead is in compliance and on file with USMS in accordance with articles 105.1.7 and 106.2.1.  The primary timing system will be automatic timing.  Times may be submitted for USMS records and USMS Top 10 consideration.

Directions: From the north or south, take the I-5 Freeway to the Alicia Parkway exit in Mission Viejo. Go east (away from the ocean) to Trabuco Road. Turn right on Trabuco to Marguerite Parkway. Go left on Marguerite to Casta Del Sol, turn right onto Casta Del Sol, and turn into the driveway for pool parking.  There will be no parking in reserved tennis spaces.

Warm-up Rules: USMS Swimming warm-up policies will be enforced by USMS/SPMS Swimming Officials.  There will be NO DIVING into the pool during these times except into the designated sprint lane(s). All swimmers must slide in entries into the pool for warm-up, no jumping or diving in.  No more than two swimmers per lane, enter one side, exit opposite side.

Entries: The entry deadline is Friday, June 11th, 2021 at 11:59 PM. Age on December 31st determines age group for the meet. You must be at least 18 to compete.

SPECIAL NOTICE: These are two dual meets open only to swimmers that are registered/members to MVN, Golden Road Aquatics, and Long Beach Grunions.  All swimmers must complete the USMS Covid-19 Liability Waiver and the COVID-19 Attendee Screening prior to competition.  Swimmers are limited to entering a total of 6 individual events. LIMITED 100 SWIMMERS PER SESSION.

Seeding: All events will be pre-seeded slowest to fastest, by entered time, ages and sexes combined.

Relays: All relays will be deck entered on SPMS relay forms available at the meet. Swimmers may only swim one relay per event. Competitors shall be allowed to swim only once per meet in each of the following relays: men’s/women’s 200 medley, and 200 freestyle; and mixed 200 medley, and 200 freestyle.

Awards: No awards

Deck changing is prohibited.

Entry Fees: Online entries are required on Club Assistant, $35.00 per swimmer flat fee.
