LOCATION: Boilermaker Aquatic Center at Purdue University, 355 S. Martin Jischke Dr., West Lafayette, IN. Directions, hotel and dining information are listed below.

FACILITY: The Boilermaker Aquatic Center is an indoor 50 meter pool. The pool configuration for the GRIN State meet may be 2 eight (8) lane 25 yard courses using the second pool only for the long distance events (1650 and 1000) depending on the number of entries for those two events. Swimmers will be notified before the meet if 2 pools will be used. The second pool will be available for warm up throughout the meet.
The length of the competition course is in compliance and on file with USMS in accordance with articles 105.1.7 and 107.2.1, but as a bulkhead course, is subject to length confirmation. Eligibility of times for USMS Top 10 and Records will be contingent on verification of bulkhead placement.

• Seating for 500 swimmers and 625 spectators
• Dakronics Electronic Timing System with 8-lane Daktronics State of-the-art Display Board
• Hy-tek Meet Manager Software will be used for the meet
• Hospitality will be available at the facility, in the classroom, located on the north side of the aquatic center
• Concessions will also be available for various other items

MEET CONDUCT: Current USMS rules will govern the conduct of the meet.

ELIGIBILITY: All entrants must be registered with United States Masters Swimming, Inc. Each swimmer is eligible to swim a maximum of five individual events per day (total of 6 for both days), excluding relays.

AGE GROUPS: 18-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, etc.

ENTRY FEES: As an added benefit to being a member of USMS and Indiana, your meet entry is FREE if registering online. For swimmers not a member of GRIN LMSC, meet fees are: $25.00 Online; $40.00 Paper Entry; Relays: Free for 200s/$5 per relay for 400s relay (non-refundable).

DEADLINE: Online entries close March 18th at 11 P.M. EDT. Online entries provided by ClubAssistant.com. Mail in, paper entries must be received no later than March 17th.  Deadline for all RELAY entries are Thursday March 20th for paper entries, and Friday March 21st for electronic entries. They can be emailed to iswimmasters@gmail.com, if your team has less than 4 relays to enter.

SEEDING: All heats will be seeded slowest to fastest. If there are enough entries, the 1000 & 1650 freestyles will be swum in both pools. All distance events (500, 1000, 1650 Free, & 400 IM) MUST have entry times. “No Time” entries will not be accepted. All of these events will require positive check-in before 7:45am on the day of the event for the 1000 and 1,650 and by 12:00 noon for the 400 IM and the 500 free. Failure to check-in before the deadline will result in being scratched from that event. Check-in and failure to swim an event may disqualify the swimmer from subsequent events. The long distance events will be swum as mixed gender events, but scored by gender and age group.

AWARDS: Each participant will receive a commemorative card suitable for posting individual and relay results, as well as a commemorative state meet participation medal. Event t-shirts will be available at the event for cost.

RESULTS: Will be posted free on GRIN website www.GRINswim.org and available for downloading. Psych sheets and results can also be found on Meet Mobile.

Take I-65 North to State Road 25 (exit 175).  Take a left on State Road 25, towards Lafayette, for approximately 1 mile.  Turn right on U.S. 52. Stay on U.S. 52 for approximately 2 miles to Yeager Road (fourth stoplight).  Turn left on Yeager Road.  Follow ensuing roundaround (approximately 0.25 miles) to Northwestern Avenue.  Follow Northwestern Avenue to Stadium Avenue (second stoplight, approximately 0.6 miles).  Turn right on Stadium Ave.  Turn left on Martin Jischke Drive (two stoplights, one stop sign; approximately 0.5 miles).  Turn right into the Recreational Sports Complex parking lot.

Take I-65 south to S.R. 43 (exit 178).  Turn right off ramp.  Follow State Road 43 approximately 7 miles to the fourth stoplight (State Street/State Road 26 West).  Turn right on State Road 26 (State Street).  Turn right at second stoplight (Grant Street).  Follow Grant Street to next stoplight.  Turn left on Northwestern Avenue.  Follow Northwestern Avenue to Stadium Avenue (first stoplight; approximately 0.5 miles).  Turn left on Stadium Ave.  Turn left on Martin Jischke Drive (two stoplights, one stop sign; approximately 0.5 miles).  Turn right into the Recreational Sports Complex parking lot.

Saturday Night Social:
On Saturday, March 22nd, after the meet, there will be a social for all participants and families/friends. The social will be held at DT Kirby’s, located at 644 Main St., Lafayette. Great place to carb up, and refuel, after a day of racing. Some appetizers will be available for free. Drinks and meals can be purchased. More details to come.
