General Info for the 2010-2011 Carol Chidester Memorial Swim Series
Meet #6: Championships
Event lists, meet conduct, rules, and fees are detailed in the Swim Series Announcement. Please click the link above and print out the 3-page announcement.
Fees: Meet surcharge for the Swim Series Finale/Championships is $10 for Maryland LMSC Members. Swimmers from other associations will be charged an additional $15 out-of-Maryland fee (for a total of $25 for the meet). Deck entries for this meet will not be permitted.
RELAYS: Relay entries are due before 8:00am on March 24.
T-SHIRTS: A meet T-shirt is available for sale online. Size Small is brand "A4" with price of $30. Click here to see "A4" shirt style. Size Medium-XXXL are brand "Under Armour." Price for M-XL $30. Price for XXL $32. Price for XXXL $34. Click here to see "Under Armour" shirt style. The T-shirt is custom-designed for this meet and, without the custom printing, the shirt retails for $25 ($27 for XXL and $29 for XXXL).

From the south, take I-97 N to Glen Burnie and exit on I-695 West. Take Exit 7B for the Baltimore-Washington Parkway north (MD-295). MD-295 turns into Russell St. Past the stadiums, make a RIGHT onto W. Pratt St. Pass Aquarium on your right and then make a left onto S. President St. Continue onto I-83 North. Drive 4.4 miles and take exit 9A for Cold Springs Lane E. Merge onto W Cold Spring Ln. Drive 1.3 miles and take a left onto N. Charles St. Drive 0.4 miles and arrive at 4900 N. Charles St.
Parking: The best place to park is on N. Charles St. It's the closest to the actual entrance to the aquatic center. Limited parking is available in the center's parking lot -- turn left from N. Charles St. to enter the parking lot.
Seating: Plenty of space for swimmers will be provided on deck via bleacher seating. Swimmers may also bring their own deck chairs if desired. The elevated spectator area provides additional space.
Lockers: Individual lockers are available. Tip: bring your own locks.
Banners: Teams are welcome to bring banners for display. No balloons are permitted.
Vending: Vending (water, snacks) will be available. Swimmers are expected to clean up after themselves.
Starting blocks: LED speedlights on each block for hearing-impaired swimmers.
Hot tub and saunas: poolside for your enjoyment.
Scoreboard: alpha-numeric "JumboTron"-like graphic display.
