Registration:  Participants may enter a maximum of 5 individual events.  Entry fees will be refundable if the meet is canceled. Registrants may instead donate refunds to the Adult Learn to Swim Program Online.  Fees are paid by credit card to “Minnesota Masters.” Entries via Club Assistant on-line only.

Registration discount:  An email will be sent to all participants in the 2024 Square Lake OW with the discount code,  Use the discount code  when signing up for the meet for $10 off your registration.  One-time use for participants in the 2024 1-mile and 5K Square Lake OW swims only.  Discount expires May 31, 2025, only one discount is permissible.

Relays:
      Relay entries via email (vandammn6@aol.com) must be submitted by noon, 9 Oct 2024.

• 400 medley relay -  events 1 and 2 may be combined and event 3 (mixed) will be swum after a 5 minute break
• 200 free relay  - events 8 and 9 may be combined and event 10 (mixed) will be swum after a 5 minute break
• 400 free relay - events 15 and 16 may be combined and event 17 (mixed) will be swum after a 5 minute break
• 200 medley - events 22 and 23 may be combined and event 24 (mixed) will be swum after a 5 minute break

Breaks:  There will be 5 minute breaks between 

• Events 1/2 (M/W 400 Medley Relay) and 3 (Mixed 400 Medley Relay)
• Events 8/9  (M/W 200 Free Relay) and 10 (Mixed 200 Free Relay)
• Events 15/16 (M/W 400 Free Relay) and 17 (Mixed 400 Free Relay)
• Events 22/23 (M/W 200 Medley Relay) and 24 (Mixed 200 Medley Relay)
• Events 28 (200 IM) and 29 (1000 free)

Course:  8 lane, 25 yard pool, using 8 lanes for competition.  7 lanes in adjacent pool available throughout the meet for warm-up and cool down.  The length of the competition course is in compliance and on file with USMS in accordance with articles 105.1.7 and 106.2.1.

1000/1650: You may only swim one of these two events.  Also, if there are 8 or fewer total swimmers in the last heats of the 1000 and 1650, we plan to combine them into a single heat that will be swim as the last heat of the meet. 

Positive Check-in:  Required only for the 1650, 1000, 500, and 400IM.  Positive check-in will close...

• 500 Free - at 9:30 on the day of the meet
• 400 IM - at the completion of event 7 (200 Butterfly)
• 1000 and 1650 Free - at the completion of event 21 (200 Free)

Results:  Results may not be posted anywhere at the meet venue; however, unofficial real-time results will upload to Meet Mobile. Final results will be available at www.minnesotamasters.com by October 25. Times swum by non-Minnesota LMSC members are not eligible for Minnesota LMSC records.

Locker Rooms:  Male and femail locker rooms will be available for use during the meet.  There are also two single person lavatories with showers that can be used.

Seeding:  Event seeding and lane assignments will be developed prior to the meet and e-mailed to all registrants.  No changes in heats or lanes will occur the day of the meet for events without positive check-in.  The 1000 and 1650 will be seeded fastest to slowest.  All other events will be seeded slowest to fastest.
