Cancellation Policy:

  • Because MOWS incurs some expense on every registration whether the participant actually swims or not, shows up or not, then it has been determined that a definition of refund would be necessary.  If cancellation is made up to five (5) days prior to the event, a full refund will be given less our fixed expenses which is 5% + $1.50.  So, for a USMS registered swimmer paying the $30 registration/entry fee there would be $27.00 refund; for a non-USMS registered swimmer purchasing the $30 registration/entry fee and the "One-Event Registration"[OEVT] and a total fee of $48, there would be a refund of $44.10.  Furthermore, if a T-shirt was ordered we will send the T-shirt to the purchaser and reduce the refund by another $3.50 for packaging and postage.
  • In the event that on the established date of MOWS weather or disaster necessitates cancellation there will be no refunds.  Participants not in attendance for the event, either cancelled or ongoing, also will not receive refunds of entry fee or OEVT fee.
  • If cancellation of one's entry is made after registration is closed but before  the event occurs there will be no refund, except in the case of those purchasing the "One-Event Registration" ($18).   We will attempt to reimburse the OEVT but that is not guaranteed and shall not be implied by any statement heretofore.

Note: If paying by credit card, your credit card statement will reflect a charge from "ClubAssistant.com Events."

Online Registration closed on 8/18/2010.
