LOCATION:  Eagle Park Pool, 650 Franklin Street, Mountain View, CA 94041. (Along Shoreline Blvd, between Church Street and High School Way).

From HWY 101, exit Shoreline Blvd. Turn south towards downtown Mountain View. Turn left on Church Street. Pool is on the right.
From HWY 280, exit HWY 85 north. Exit El Camino Real north into Mountain View. Turn right on Shoreline Blvd, then right on Church Street. Pool is on the right. 

PARKING: Park in Franklin and Church Street lots and on surrounding streets.

FACILITY: 8-lane x 25-meter outdoor pool with bulkhead. 6 competition lanes, with 1 lane and the 4 lane x 20-yard shallow end available for warm up and warm down throughout the meet. The length of the competition course is in compliance and on file with USMS in accordance with articles 105.1.7 and 106.2.1, but as a bulkhead course, is subject to length confirmation. Eligibility of times for USMS Top 10 and records will be contingent on verification of bulkhead placement. The primary timing system will be automatic timing (Colorado Timing System). Times can be submitted for world records, USMS records, and USMS Top 10 consideration. Pacific Masters requirements for records and Top 10 consideration are the same as those for USMS.

TIME: Warm-up from 7:30 to 8:45 am. The meet starts at 9:00 am.

RULES & ELIGIBILITY: Current USMS rules will govern the meet. All participants must be age 18 or older as of the last day of the meet and be currently registered members of U.S. Masters Swimming. Foreign swimmers must provide proof of current membership in their country’s Masters Swimming governing body.

ENTRY LIMITS: The competition is limited to the first 120 entrants. Swimmers may enter up to 5 individual events and one of each type of relay.
ONLINE ENTRIES: Register online at 
Club Assistant. Online entries must be received by Wednesday September 8, 2021 at 11:59 PM PDT. Bring the billing information email to the meet as proof of entry. Online entry requires payment by credit card using the Club Assistant secure site. The cost to enter online is $20 per swimmer, and $5.00 per individual event. Your credit card will be charged by “ Event Billing”. There will be NO REFUNDS of entry fees.

MAILED ENTRIES: Mailed entries will not be accepted.

DECK ENTRIES: Deck entries will not be accepted.

RELAYS: Relays are deck-entered at $6 per relay.

CHECK IN: Positive check-in required for all events. Events 1 and 2 must check in by 8:30 am. Other events must check in at least 30 minutes before the estimated start of the event. Swimmers who do not check in will not be seeded and will not be allowed to compete in that event.

SEEDING: Events seeded and swum slowest to fastest. Appropriate short course meters (SCM) times must be submitted. If a swimmer does not have SCM seed times from past events, conversions or estimates should be made accordingly.

WARMUPS: Warmup space availability may be limited in order to comply with city restrictions on the maximum number of swimmers per lane. If necessary, additional information regarding pre-meet warmup time limits may be sent out in the days leading up to the meet.

AWARDS:  Ribbons 1st through 8th in each age group. Special awards in memory of Coach Alan Liu for the winners of the 400 IMs, and to those who complete the Alan Liu Animal Pentathlon: 400 IM, 200 Breast, 200 Fly, 200 Back, and 400 Free. Award recipients for the Alan Liu Animal Pentathlon are not required to win their events. Animal Pentathlete Awards will be presented after completion of the 400 Free.

HOSPITALITY: A snack bar will sell refreshments during the meet.

  Presentation of Animal Pentathlete Awards

COVID-19 PROTOCOLS: All volunteers and participants must follow any federally and locally mandated COVID protocols in effect at the time of the event. The City of Mountain View may have stricter requirements than the county or state. After registration closes, participants will be notified of any relevant rules or procedures. Please do not attend if you are experiencing any signs or symptoms of COVID. We encourage all participants to get fully vaccinated in advance of the meet. Masks will be required at all times, except when swimming. Participants will be responsible for bringing their own masks. Hand sanitizer will be available, but participants are asked to bring their own personal supply as well.
