This is an opportunity to establish a baseline for the 1500 meter swim in an outdoor long course 50 meter pool at UMBC.     Since distances and conditions vary,  as you may know it is hard to establish a 1500 swim baseline in an open water swim, even in the same event from year to year.   So come out and get your bona-fide 1500 meter time in a pool.   Sign up at the link below online at low cost.  Good luck!

You do NOT need a USMS membership to participate. And the fee is only $15.

This time trial will start after the morning LMSC meet, a time line will be sent out Friday, July 22, 2016. We will have unlimited heats of the 1500m. This is swum as 30 lengths, you can bring a friend to be your counter. All 8 lanes of the outdoor pool will be used for the time trial, but the indoor pool (25 yards) is available for warmups. 

We are unable to provide refunds.

USMS swimmers will have their times submitted for Top Ten.

The length of the competition course without a bulkhead is in compliance and on file with USMS in accordance with articles 105.1.7 and 107.2.1
