Come Swim in the UMAC LAST CHANCE SCY Meet. This will be your last chance to get in some Sprint Individual and Long Relay SCY swims before we switch to meters. This is also your last chance to swim in Eppley before it closes for renovations this summer. Feed off your taper for nationals and come enjoy some FAST swims!

Schedule:                               
May 6, 2017
Warm-up will commence at 11:00 A.M. in the 50 M Pool and end at 11:45 A.M.  The Meet will start at 12:00 P.M. in the main Competition Pool. Continuous warm up/cool down will take place in the 12 lane, 25 yard adjacent pool.

Eligibility:                             
Participants must be a USMS 2017 registered swimmers and at least 18 years of age as of the last day of the meet May 6, 2017. Swimmers turning 18 after the meet entry deadline and by May 6, 2017, must enter the meet by the meet entry deadline and register for USMS at the venue on May 6.

Age Groups:                         
Age for the meet is determined as of Dec. 31, 2017, except for 18-year-olds, who must be 18 by May 6, 2017. Age groups for individual events: 18–24, 25–29, 30–34, 35–39 … (five year increments as high as necessary). The Age Groups for relays shall be as follows: 18+, 25+, 35+, 45+, 55+, 65+, 75+, 85+, 95+… (10-year increments as high as is necessary). The age of the youngest relay team member shall determine the age group. Relay teams must swim in the oldest age group for which they are eligible

Warm up Procedures:  
Swimmers must enter the pool feet first in a cautious and controlled manner. No diving or backstroke starts will be allowed, except in designated sprint lanes. One or two lanes shall be designated as one-way sprint lanes during the pre-meet warm-up sessions in the competition pools only. Any swimmer who acts in an unsportsmanlike or unsafe manner within the swimming venue may be considered for appropriate action or penalty by the referee (rule 102.13.3). Pull buoys, kickboards, fins, hand paddles, and snorkels are not allowed in the competition or warm-up pools.

Entries:                                   
Entries will be accepted online through Club Assistant. No on deck or paper entries accepted. Each swimmer may compete in six individual events and three relays.

Fees:                                         
There is $25 surcharge for each swimmer in this meet.

Entry Deadlines:

Awards:                                 
There will be no awards given at this meet.

Seeding:                                  
Swimmers will be seeded slowest to fastest, regardless of age or gender.

Positive Check-in:           
There will be no positive check in for this meet.

Other:                                      
Heats may be combined based on space and time requirements at the discretion of meet officials.

Top 10 & Record times:
The length of the competition course is in compliance and on file with USMS in accordance with articles 105.1.7 and 107.2.1, but as a bulkhead course, is subject to length confirmation. Eligibility of times for USMS Top 10 and records will be contingent on verification of bulkhead placement.

Breaks:
Breaks are preliminarily scheduled as follows. The Meet Director and Meet Referee can alter breaks at their discretion. 
10 Minutes after the 100 Backstroke
15 Minutes after the 400 Medley Relay
10 Minutes after the 200 Individual Medley
