COURSE: Eight (8) lane, 25-yard course with Colorado timing. Additional Eight (8) lanes will be available for warm-up throughout competition.

ELIGIBILITY: Meet is open to all currently registered USMS or currently registered FINA Masters recognized governing body, swimmers 18 years or older. Age to be determined as of February 17, 2019.

RULES: 2019 USMS rules will govern this meet.  Meet management reserves the right to adjust logistics in order to run an efficient meet.

BREAKS: 5 minute breaks will take place before each relay event and 5 minute break after the “Mixed” relays.  Breaks may be added by Event Referee as necessary.

ENTRY FEES:  $25 Meet Fee plus $4 per event.  Competitors may enter up to a maximum of five (5) individual events per day.  All events will be seeded Slow to Fast except for the 500 Free will be seeded Fast to Slow

ENTRY INFO: All Entry and registration fees are nonrefundable. All “Entries” must be received by February 12, 2019. Paper Entry form and payment, along with A COPY OF YOUR 2019 USMS REGISTRATION CARD should be mailed to:

DISTANCE EVENTS: Events 400 & 500-yards may be swum combined men and women. 1000 & 1650 will be swum combined men & women. “Positive Check-in required ”for the 1000 & 1650.  You will need to provide an individual to serve as a lap counter.
                                     Note: 1650 will be limited to 24 swimmers (3 heats)

POSITIVE CHECKIN:  Deadlines:  1000 Free - 5:30pm on Feb 15.   1650 Free - 8:30am on Feb 17.

DECK ENTRIES: Permitted if lane available: Entry Fee $30 (if not already in meet) + $5 per event.

AWARDS: Individual Spirt Award as well as Age Group Women’s/Men’s High Point Awards. Participation Ribbons will be available as well as "Individual Results Lables" for Tri-Fold cards.

                                            
RELAYS:  Relay entries will be accepted on the deck up to 60 minutes prior to the start of the relays. There is a $5.00 CHARGE for each relay entered; Payment is due with relay entry.

RESULTS:  Results will be available at the following: www.fortlauderdale.gov/flac under the "results of current meets" link. Results will also be available on “SwimPhone” and Meet Mobile.

Note: If paying by credit card, your credit card statement will reflect a charge from "Swim Fort Lauderdale Masters."
