DATE & TIME:
Saturday, July 26: warm-up 7:30 AM for 1500m free, start at 8 AM; warm-up at 10 AM for other events, start no earlier than 10:30
Sunday, July 27: warm-up at 8 AM, meet begins at 9 AM

FACILITY: The Long Center, 1501 N. Belcher Road, Clearwater, Florida. The Long Center is an indoor 50 meter x 25 yard pool. This meet will be using 8 of the facility’s 10 long course meter lanes during the 1500m Freestyle (1 lane warm-ups). Six lanes will be used for the remainder of the meet with 3 warm-up lanes. All events will be swum in numerical order slow to fast. The event will be using Daktronics timing system. The filtration system is a state-of-the-art UV system that requires little to no chlorine. The pool is also grounded with technology that enables the pool to be utilized during inclement weather. There is an upstairs spectator area that seats 294 and a sundeck on the west end of the facility. Wireless access is available throughout the facility. Free but limited refreshments for all swimmers, taken as needed, on first come first serve basis.

ELIGIBILITY: Current USMS rules will govern. All athletes must be 18 years of age or older as of December 31, 2014, and be registered with USMS, Inc. for 2014. Non U.S. citizens should have a letter of introduction from their own swimming association.

ONLINE ENTRIES: Online meet registration closes midnight Eastern time on Tuesday, July 22, 2014. Online registration for this meet is preferred for speed and accuracy. Click here for online registration link. Your 2014 membership to USMS will be verified at the start of online meet registration. Links are available to renew or look up your membership.

PAPER/MAILED ENTRIES: Paper entries must be received by Friday, July 18, 2014.

ENTRY FEES: Entry fees are $45 flat per swimmer for 2-day meet entry, and $25.00 for one-day meet entry. Relay fees are $2. Fees are non-refundable. Online meet entries charge fees to your credit card. Your credit card statement will show a charge from “ClubAssistant.com Events.”  Scratches will be accepted.

ENTRY LIMITS: Swimmers may enter a maximum of five individual events per day.

RELAYS: Relay fees are $2 per relay. Relay teams may be deck entered at the meet both Saturday and Sunday. All relays are mixed, must consist of 2 women and 2 men. Only team members registered for the meet may participate in the relays. Age categories for relays are 72+, 100+, 120+, 160+, 200+, 240+, 280+, 320+…40 year increments as high as is necessary (the total age of the four participants). Relay cards and fees are due before event 7 on Saturday and before event 30 on Sunday.

SCORING & AWARDS: Individual High Point awards for 1st through 3rd will be given by age group and gender with a minimum of five events completed. Scoring 9-7-6-5-4-3-2-1 for individuals, double points for relays.

ORDER OF EVENTS: *Check-in required 30 minutes prior to event. All events will be seeded slow to fast. Events 1/2, 11, 18/19, 21/21 and 32 will be deck seeded. All relays will be combined women and men. Breaks will be taken as needed.
