Facility:  Raymond A. Bryan Pool, Family YMCA, Goldsboro, NC. An 8-lane 50 Meter pool with non-turbulent lane lines, Colorado Timing System and scoreboard, and custom paragon starting blocks. The lanes are 7 feet wide and the depth at the starting end is 12ft deep. The depth at the turn end is 4ft. A separate 5-lane 25YD pool is available for continuous warm-up. Ample spectator and swimmer seating is available. The length of the competition course without a bulkhead is in compliance and on file with USMS in accordance with articles 105.1.7 and 107.2.1.

Rules: Swimmers must be registered with USMS for 2015. USMS One Day Registration will not be allowed for this meet. USMS rules govern the meet. Swimmers are limited to 5 individual events per day. When warming up, you must enter the pool feet first except in sprint lanes. No paddles or kickboards are allowed. All swimmers must sign the standard USMS waiver upon arriving at the meet.

Deadline: Entries must be completed online by 11:59pm EST Saturday, July 18, 2015. Online entries are required. Late entries will be accepted online between 12:00am EST Sunday, July 19, 2015 and 11:59pm EST Wednesday, July 22nd, 2015. A late entry fee will apply. Deck entries will not be accepted at the discretion of the meet director.  No new heats will be added.   Deck entries will be $5.00 per event. Swimmers must have already been entered in the meet.  Heat sheets will be published based on all entries received by Wednesday, July 22 at 11:59pm.

Fee:     Early bird entry fee: $30 through June 30th.
             After June 30th and until Saturday, July 18th: $35 entry fee.
             From Sunday, July 19th until 11:59 pm EST Wednesday, July 22nd, late fee of $45.
             No charge for relays.

Scoring & Awards: Individual events will be scored 9-7-6-5-4-3-2-1 (eight places); relays doubled. Medals will be awarded to the first through third place finishers in each individual events.   Ribbons will be awarded to the fourth through eighth place finishers.   All awards must be picked up from Clerk of Course the day of the meet.   No awards will be mailed to the participants. 

Seeding: All events will be seeded by gender and time except the following events which will be seeded by time only: 400 and 1500 free. All events will be seeded from slow to fast. “No Time” is not allowed. The Meet Director reserves the right to combine genders in any other events.

T-shirts:  Meet shirts will be available by pre-order only and only to those who register by the July 18th deadline. 

Sponsor Hotel:   The Holiday Inn Express of Goldsboro is our sponsor hotel for this event.  They have put a limited amount of rooms aside for this event. The rate for single king rooms is $99.00 and the rate for family suites (2 queen beds and a pull out couch) is $115.00.   To get these rates, you must call the hotel  and say that you are with the State Championship Swim Meet at the YMCA.   These rates will be available until July 1st.  You can reach the Holiday Inn Express at 919-778-0007.
