Location:
Herbst Natatorium at St. Ignatius College Preparatory School, 2001 37th Avenue, San Francisco.

Time:
Warm-up from 10:00AM to 10:55AM
Meet starts at 11:00 AM

Deck Entry Swimmers:
Check In Deadline: 10:45AM for 500 Freestyle 12:00PM for all other events.

Pre-Entered Swimmers:
Check-in Time: 10:30AM for 500 Freestyle, and 12:00PM for all other events.
Swim Phone Check-in will be available @Swimphone.com

Facility:
Indoor, 25-yard x 8-lane competition pool. 6 competition lanes with 2 lanes available for warm-up/down throughout the meet. There will be breaks in the competition (between events) to ensure that swimmers have rest between events.  Electronic Timing with touch pads will be used. Bleachers are available.

The Quadrathon's Events:
(Odd=Women, Even=Men)
1-2 500 yd. Free
3-4 100 yd. Free
5-6 200 yd. Free
7-8 50 yd. Free

Remember Freestyle is the most permissive of all events, because the swimmer is allowed to use any stroke!

According to the rules of FINA, the international governing body of swimming and other water sports, a swimmer may swim using any style or stroke. The four most common strokes are the front crawl, backstroke, breaststroke and butterfly. The exception to the rule is in the individual medley, an event combining four length of each freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke and butterfly. In the IM event, a swimmer cannot swim backstroke, breaststroke or butterfly in the freestyle length of the event.

Eligibility:  USMS Swimming for Pacific Masters Swimming. USMS Sanction # S383-S005

Entry Fee:
Online and Mail-in Entry fees:  Flat fee of $20.00 (for 1 to 4 events) + $2.50 Online processing fee.  Online entries are paid by credit card to "ClubAssistant.com Events."

Deck Entry Fee $35.00 (for 1 to 4 events).
(Deck entries will only be accepted until 12:15 PM  for 500 Free, and 1:30 PM for all other events .

Entry Details:
Three ways to register:
1.  Register Online (Preferred).  Online meet entry closes at 9:00AM, Thursday Jan 23, 2013.
2.  Mail-in Entries must be received at the pool by Wednesday, January 22, 2013. Please mail in a completed Consolidated Entry Form.
3.  Deck Entry Cut off time for the 500 Free will be 10:30 AM, and other events will be 12:00PM

All swimmers must have a current 2013 USMS registration card.
* USMS membership will be verified during online meet registration.
* USMS Cards must be present at time of  a deck entry or you can register for USMS membership while deck entering.

Awards:
A raffle will be held at the end of the meet.
You must be compete in all 4 events to have the "right to call yourself" a 2013 "Quadathlete"
