Facility: The beautiful Rancho Simi Recreation and Park District Pool is an outdoor, 25 yard by 50 meter competition pool situated in a beautiful park-like setting located at 1765 Royal Ave, Simi Valley, CA, 93065. The competition pool will be 8 lanes and there will be 6 additional lanes open for warm-up throughout the meet. The Rancho Simi Pool has played host to dozens of Age Group Meets, Senior Meets, Maramonte League Swim and Water Polo finals, and CIF meets.

SPECIAL EVENTS AND AWARDS: A large Electronic Display will be available to run your team’s submitted photos during the meet. Winners in each age group and event will be setting Meet Records in our Inaugural Meet. Here is your opportunity to set a Meet Record! In honor of 11-time USA Swimming Olympic Medalist and USMS Masters Swimmer, Matt Biondi, a special perpetual award will be presented to the meet’s fastest male and female swimmer in the 50 yd. freestyle: The Matt Biondi Award. RAFFLE TICKETS FOR SALE: Win an once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for a one-on-one Swim Clinic, Photo, and Autograph with Matt Biondi. The Swim Clinic can be for anyone thirteen years old and up. Available for purchase with your online meet entry and at the Swim Meet: $10.00 per raffle ticket. This is an opportunity to work one on one with 11 Time USA Olympic Medalist Matt Biondi. The Matt Biondi Clinic is a 1 hour clinic with Matt. This will occur at the conclusion of the swim meet at the Rancho Simi Park Pool on March 23, 2014. Clinic maybe scheduled for another day at the pool if Mr. Biondi’s schedule and pool time are available. Must be at least 13 years old. Includes Photo and Autograph. No Refunds.

Directions: Take the 118 Ronald Reagan Freeway to the Erringer Rd. Exit. Take Erringer Rd. south 1.5 miles. Turn right on Royal Ave., pool entrance is on right.

Rules: United States Masters Swimming rules will govern. Current SPMS meet procedures will be enforced and take precedent over any errors or omissions on this form. The meet referee will be in charge of the meet. Any questions regarding the conduct of the meet should be directed to that person. All events are timed final. Swimmers are limited to a total of 5 individual events, not including relays. Age on March 23rd determines age group for the meet. You must be at least 18 to compete.

Entries: On-line registration is preferred. The pre-entry postmark deadline is Saturday, March 16, 2014. The on-line entry deadline is 6:00 p.m. Pacific Time on March 22, 2014. Deck registration is permitted. Deck entries will close at 8:00 a.m. for the 1650 yd. Freestyle and at 10:15 a.m. for all other events.

Seeding: All events will be deck seeded slowest to fastest, by entered time. Check-in is required for all events to ensure the meet runs efficiently.

Relays: All relays will be deck entered on SPMS relay forms available at the meet. Relay fees are $5.00 per relay due upon entry. For each relay swimmer who is not entered in individual events, a fee of $10.00 and a signed liability release must be submitted with the relay entry.

Awards: Individual: SPMS ribbons for places 1 to 3. Relay: SPMS ribbons for first place. A special award for the fastest male and female in the 50 free, the Matt Biondi Perpetual Award, will be awarded at the meet.

Entry Fees: $30.00 per swimmer flat fee. Online entry is preferred! Online entries after March 16th are $35.00. Deck entries allowed for a total of $40.00. Please note: If paying by credit card, your credit card statement will reflect a charge from "ClubAssistant.com Events".

*1,650 will be limited to the first 32 entries.
** Kickboard relay swimmers start in the water. Flutter kick without fins the entire length of the course is required. Swimmers must touch the wall with hand at each end of each length pool.
