Sunday, September 24, Sedona Community Pool, 25 Yard Course

Location—Wall Aquatic Center, Northern Arizona University,821 S. San Francisco St, Flagstaff, AZ

Facility—10 lane Indoor 25 meter course with non-turbulent lane lines.   6-8 lanes will be used for competition. This is a bulkhead course, therefore the pool will have to be certified the day of the meet in order for times to be official. 

Timing---Fully automatic timing (touchpads plus a button and watch backup) will be used, therefore times will be eligible for USMS Top 10 and FINA Masters World Records

Time—Warmups at 1 PM, meet starts at 2 PM

Rules—
1.    2023 USMS Rules will apply
2.    All events are timed finals
3.    Swimmers may swim up to 4 individual events
4.    400 Free and IM will require positive check-in.  Check in by 1:30 PM day of meet.  
5.    Swimmers age as of December 31, 2023, will determine their age for the meet

Seeding—All events will be run slowest to fastest, ages and sexes combined.   Breaks will be included as necessary and requested.  

Eligibility—Open to any swimmer with a valid 2023 USMS registration or one day registration.  Please include a copy of your USMS registration card with your entry, or be prepared to show your card at meet check-in.  We will be accepting one day registrations (applications available at the meet). One day registrations are not eligible for USMS Top 10 or records.

Entry Fee:  $30.00 fee includes up to 4 events.  Deck entries will be $35.00

This meet is offered in conjunction with the meet in Sedona on Sunday. Not all events will be offered at both meets. Time trials are not permitted by FINA, but we will be able to offer time trials in Sedona on Sunday for events not offered, at the discretion of the meet referee. 

Entry Deadline—Entries must be received by 5 PM on Tuesday September 19.  Deck entries will be accepted to fill available lane space only, deck entry deadline 1:30 PM September 23

Mail Entries to—Fall Classic Swim Meet, Liz Hobbs, 514 W Navajo Rd, Flagstaff, AZ 86001.  Make check payable to Northern Arizona University.  Include copy of USMS registration, completed AZ consolidated entry card (http://azlmsc.org/wp-content/uploads/2013/11/Consol.EntryForm.pdf) and payment. Or enter online, using link.

Meet Order of Events:  Please note—breaks will be given between events as requested and as time allows, Events 1 and 2, the 400 Freestyle and 400 IM, may be combined. This meet is offered in conjuction with the meet in Sedona on Sunday, which is SCY.  Relays can be Men's, Women's, or Mixed, and may be combined into one heat.
