Boston Area Master’s Festival

Meet Format: Each swimmer will be allowed to enter as many events as they like.  You may enter with no time.  Events will run slow to fast, with the last 3 preliminary heats being circle seeded.  We will compete in all 10 lanes. 

Warm-ups: The competition pool will be available for warm-ups from 9-10am.  The diving well lanes will be available for warmup and warmdown throughout the competition.  No equipment allowed in the competition pool.

Rules: Current USMS rules will govern this meet. 

Seeding: Seed times are short course yards.  You may enter an unofficial time.  Please be as accurate as possible. Swimmers may declare a false start for a preliminary swim.

Timers: Each lane will have one person acting as the official backup timer, and will also be responsible for the electronic backup timing for that lane. 

Scoring: Standard championship scoring will be in effect.  20-17-16-15-14-13-12-11-9-7-6-5-4-3-2-1

Entry Fee: There is a flat entry fee of $50 per swimmer.

Entry Deadline: Entries will be due by Tuesday, November 12th.  Please submit entries via the online entry form.

Parking: Parking will be available at Agganis Arena parking garage at $2 per hour as well as metered street parking. Use the Green ‘B’ line and the St. Paul or Pleasant St. ‘T’ stop for MBTA access.

Order of Events:
* 400 free will run fastest to slowest and as the timeline allows.
