Sanction: Sanctioned by Niagara District Masters Swimming for USMS Inc.

Location: Alumni Arena Pool located on University at Buffalo’s North Campus. If using a GPS, enter “University at Buffalo Flint Entrance, Amherst, NY 14260”. The facility is a 16-lane 50 meter by 25 yard venue with separate diving well. The primary timing system will be automatic timing(Colorado Timing System). Times will be submitted for USMS records and USMS Top 10 consideration. The length of the competition course without a bulkhead is in compliance and on file with USMS in accordance with articles 105.1.7 and 106.2.1. The competition will take place in eight short course yards lanes without a bulkhead. Separate warm-up space will be available throughout the duration of the meet.
           
Time: Meet registration will begin at 1:30 pm, meet warm-up will begin at 2:00 pm followed by a 3:00 pm meet start.

Eligibility: Open to all currently registered USMS/AQUA swimmers 18 and older as of October 26, 2024, 2024 USMS (http://www.usms.org/reg/) or an equivalent AQUA registration is required. One Event (OEVT) USMS registration is an option with the online entry. But times for individual and relay events for OEVT swimmers are unofficial and swimmers are encouraged to have an annual 2024 USMS registration.

Fees: Each swimmer must pay a $40 meet entry fee.

Entries: Each swimmer may enter up to five individual events. All entries must be submitted by Wednesday October 22, 2024, 11:59 pm. Deck entries will NOT be accepted except for the relays.

Age swum will be age on 10/26/24.

Seeding: Events will be swum slowest to fastest EXCEPT the 500 free will be seeded fastest to slowest. All swimmers must check-in upon arrival, and positive check-in is required for the 500 Freestyle. Men's and Women's heats will be combined. There will be a 10 minute break after Events 3, 6 and 11.

Relays: A 4x100 yd. freestyle relay will be held after the first break. A 4x100 yd. Inner Tube Relay will be held after Event 6. The relays must be deck-entered and are Exhibition.

Entry Procedure: Online entries ONLY will be accepted. Your credit card will be charged by ‘USMS Niagara District’. Online entries will close at 11:59 pm, Wednesday October 22, 2024.
