LOCATION: The Summit Medical Fitness Center, 205 Sunnyview Ln Kalispell, MT 59901. The pool is a 6 lane, 25 yard regulation short course pool.

SANCTION AND RULES: The meet is sanctioned by USMS swimming. The 2017 USMS Swimming and Montana Masters Swimming Rules will govern the conduct of the meet. Timing will be by Colorado Timing System or watches as backup. All events will be timed finals.

MEET FORMAT: All events will be seeded mixed gender and according to seed time. A no time entry will swim in the first heat of each event. This is not a preferred entry option. A guess of a seed time is better than none.

ENTRIES: Each swimmer may compete in a maximum of EIGHT (8) individual events, not exceeding FIVE (5) individual events in a single day. Swimmers will be placed in age group categories based on their age on the last day of the meet. Swimmers shall be seeded on the basis of their sub-mitted times, all events will be swum slowest to fastest. There will be NO individual DECK entries, this is a championship meet format. Relays will be deck seeded, as they are for fun. Swimmers may swim BOTH 1650 and 1000 yard free as they choose.

ENTRY FEES: The entry fee for each swimmer is $35.00. There will be NO REFUNDS. No entries will be received after March 17, 2017. Swimmers will receive a participant bag, which will include towel, USMS bag tag, USMS swim cap among other great samples from our sponsors. All registration will be online at CLUB ASSISTANT. 

RESULTS: Results will be posted as they are finalized at the meet. Swimmers will be placed and receive points according to their gender/age group categories, with team points being tallied at the end of the meet for bragging rights, and possession of the traveling trophy for the next year.

BUSINESS MEETING: The LMSC Business meeting will be held Saturday night during the apetizer portion of the social event from 5:00-6:00pm

SOCIAL EVENT: The Masters Swimming Social Event will be held at the Hampton Inn on Saturday evening. Meet for drinks and appetizers from 5:00-6:00 pm and a catered dinner will begin at 6. Dinner will be a pasta dish with a vegetarian and meat option. The cost for the social event is $15 for adults and $6 for children(any swimmer submitting registration prior to March 1, 2017 will be able to purchase social event tickets for the discounted price of $5 a ticket). Beer and wine will be available at an additional charge.

LODGING: A block of rooms has been reserved at the Hampton Inn, 1149 US Hwy 2 Kalispell, MT 59901. (406)755-7900. Book your room for March 24th and/or 25th and mention you are participating in the Masters State Meet and you will receive the discounted rate of $79 per night. Book prior to March 22nd to guarantee that rate.

USMS COACH APPRECIATION: KATS Masters will be recognizing all Montana Coaches at the State Meet by providing you with a coaches goodie bag. Please indicate on your registration if you are a USMS Certified Coach to get yours! Coaches will also be asked to indicate if you would be willing to take splits/coach swimmers who are competing without a
coach.
