Masters Swimming Victoria Long Course Championships

ENTRIES:

• Individual entries CLOSE 11:59pm Sunday 31 March 2024.
• Online Relay TEAM entry opens Monday 1 April 2024
• Online Relay Team entry CLOSE 11:59pm Wednesday 3 April 2024
• Late changes to entered relays can be made up to 2 hours before the race

TIMEKEEPING:  
Clubs are requested to bring stopwatches and prepare a roster as ALL swimmers are expected to assist with timekeeping.


IMPORTANT MEET INFORMATION:

• Maximum of 6 individual swims per person per day
• Maximum of 2 Relay swims per person per day
• Individual entries close 31 March 2024 at 11:59 pm.
• Relay entries close 3 April 2024
• ALL online payments will be charged by "MASTERSSWIMMINGVIC" 
• No offline entries or payments are available

• All swimmers must be financial and active Masters Swimming Australia members at date of entry to the Meet
• All swimmers who enter the meet need to renew for 2024 before entering the competition
• Swimmer ages will be calculated as at 31st December 2024
• To be eligible to swim in a relay, a swimmer must have entered at least one individual event.
• There is no limit on the number of teams that a club may enter in any age group. All teams may score points.
• All members of a Relay team MUST be members of the same club
• This competition will be governed by the Rules of Masters Swimming Australia (and can be found on the National MSA website)
• Visiting interstate and International teams are welcome and are eligible for awards
• Visitors must show a proof of registration with an equivalent body overseas. No guest swimmers
• Final program will be available 2 days prior to the event and can be found on MSV website
• We are hoping to make this a Dual Sanctioned Meet again for SV [SA] swimmers as well.
• Note this is also the First Swim in the MSA Swim Series.

Please note: - Times and Records are Provisional until finalized.  The Pool Survey has been Certified.

Please note that in order to allow Meet Officials a break from activities on and around the pool deck, a formal break in the program of events may be called. When this will be, will be decided upon the day of the Meet and will depend on numbers of swimmers entered in each event.  

This Meet will include Multi-Class swimmers. This is a MSV initiative to provide swimmers with disabilities an opportunity to compete in a State competition. More information about Multi-Class can be found on MSV website.

Individual Swimmer Registration
During the first phase of online meet registration, January 2 - March 31, individual swimmers shall sign up on the Club Assist website, and indicate some relays they wish to swim. [Note that this is an indication mark only.]

Relay Registration
During the second phase of online meet registration, April 1 - April 3, coaches and relay captains shall build relays on Club Assistant software with the swimmers in the online meet entry roster, and pay a $10 per relay fee.
