DATE:                    Sunday 28th August 2016 
TIME:                    Warm up – 9.00 am to 9.45 am (Cool down/warm up facilities will exist for the remainder of the meet in                                                                                             the Diving Pool area). Start – 10:00am

VENUE:                Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre (MSAC) Aughtie Drive Albert Park
(Melways – 2K D7) - 50m Indoor Competition Pool

COST:                    Registration $25
Individual Event $5 per event (Max. 5)
Relays $20 per team

All swimmers must register as individuals through the Club Assistant
system prior to any clubs submitting relay teams.

Once swimmers have registered, clubs can process their relay team
payments through the Club Assistant payments system.

Please note that in order to allow Meet Officials a break from activities on and around the pool deck, a formal break in proceedings may be called. When this will be, will be decided upon the day of the Meet and will depend on numbers of swimmers entered in each event (individual and relay).

Details for Individual entries & Club Relay entries, will be available on the Masters Swimming Victoria website and sent via email to all Club Secretaries.

INDIVIDUAL Entries - Closing date is 5.00pm Friday 19th August 2016 – NO LATE ENTRIES

CLUB Entries for Relays - Closing date is 5.00pm Tuesday 23rd August 2016 – NO LATE ENTRIES
If you discover a recording mistake or an event is missing you may contact the Masters Swimming Victoria Office via mail, email (see above) or in person and provide the following details:  Name, event, heat, lane, time and description.

NO changes can be made after Wednesday 24th August at 12.00pm (noon) FOR ANY REASON
CLUBS:
Clubs should appoint a Team Captain to co-ordinate their teams and as a point of contact with the Meet Officials.
There is no limit on the number of teams that a club may enter in any age group in any event. All teams are eligible for awards.

Please ensure that your Masters Swimming registration is current to 31st December 2016.

This competition will be governed by the Rules of Masters Swimming Australia in force on the closing date for entries. (These can be found on the National website)

No swimmer may enter more than five (5) individual events. INDIVIDUAL EVENTS DO NOT INCLUDE RELAY EVENTS - RELAY EVENTS ARE IN ADDITION. If a club includes a swimmer who has entered more than five (5) individual events, the swimmer will be disqualified from their 6th and subsequent individual event and the club relay - the relay team will not be disqualified, but will need to provide a substitute swimmer.

Swimmers ages will be calculated as at 31st December 2016. 

Medals for first place and ribbons for second and third place and relays will be awarded for all age groups and genders in the individual events, based on fastest times. Ribbons for 1st, 2nd and 3rd will be provided for age groups and genders in the relays. Visiting interstate and International teams are eligible for awards.

A fee of $30 will be applied to any protest other than a recording issue. This fee must be attached to the protest form at the time of lodgement. No fee, no protest accepted.

Visiting interstate and international teams are welcome. Visitors must show a proof of registration with an equivalent body overseas or interstate. No guest swimmers!

The PROGRAM for the Meet will be computer generated from the entries generated by the Club Assistant on-line registration process.

The final program will be available on the Masters Swimming Victoria website: http://www.mastersswimmingvic.org.au approx 3-4 days prior to the meet. Updates will be provided daily using the Meet Mobile App for iPhone and Android as well as SwimPhone, from the date the registration portal is open.
