2018 Last Chance Meet - LCM - Hosted by Texas Ford Aquatics

WELCOME!
Texas Ford Aquatics invites you to join us at the Texas Ford Aquatics Swim Center to compete in our 2018 Last Chance Meet. This meet is open to all USMS registered swimmers, and is the last chance to get a time for the long course season.

We have a special guest.  Olympic Gold Medalist, Ryan Berube.  He will be at the pool at 12:00 pm to promote Swimming Across America, a Cancer Research Fundraiser.  More information can be found here:

Warm-up at 12:30 pm and the meet starts at 1:30 pm.

COURSE
Five (5) 50 Meter lanes with Colorado timing.
Three (3) 50 Meter lanes will be available for warmup and cool-down throughout the competition.
The length of the competition course without a bulkhead is in compliance and on file with USMS in accordance with articles 105.1.7 and 106.2.1.

ELIGIBILITY
All participants must be registered with USMS or a current member of a FINA-recognized national governing body for Masters swimming (article 202.1) and at least 18 years of age as of September 15, 2018. Swimmers turning 18 after the meet entry deadline and by September 15, 2018, must enter the meet by the meet entry deadline and register for USMS either before or on September 15, 2018.   Age to be determined as of December 31, 2018.

RULES
2018 USMS rules will govern this meet.  Meet management reserves the right to adjust logistics in order to run an efficient meet.

BREAKS
10 minute breaks will take place after events 8 and 18, breaks may be added or removed by the Meet Referee.

ENTRIES
Competitors may enter up to a maximum of six (6) individual events.  Online meet entry is paid by credit card to ClubAssistant.com Events.  Online entry closes at 11:59pm Central time on September 13, 2018.  Events will be seeded slowest to fastest.

NUMBER OF EVENTS ALLOWED
Athletes may enter a maximum of six (6) indivividual events per day.

ENTRY CONFIRMATION
All participants who enter on-line through Club Assistant will receive a confirmation email after they check out. If you don’t receive an email confirmation, your entries were not received.

ENTRY FEES
Swim Meet fee is $30.00.  All Entry and registration fees are nonrefundable.  Paper entry forms must be received by September 11, 2018.  Late entries will not be processed.  Mail Entry Form and payment, along with A COPY OF YOUR 2018 USMS REGISTRATION CARD to:

DECK ENTRIES
Deck entries will be accepted on the day of the meet up to 1:00 pm for $40.  Deck Entries are only permitted in open lanes.  No new heats will be added. $5.00 per event if already entered in the meet.  Must bring a copy of your 2018 USMS Registration Card.

FIRST MEET
If this is your first Masters meet ever, and you are a member in the North Texas LMSC, your meet entry fee is $5.00.  Please submit a paper entry form by September 11th to qualify. 

AWARDS
Cards will be provided for the placement of award labels as a race record for all.

RELAYS
Relays are deck entry only.  $8.00 per relay entry.  All relay swimmers must be USMS registered and on the same team.
Medley due by event 5, Free due by event 14.

RESULTS
Results will be available at www.TexasFordAquatics.com and USMS.org.

PARKING
Free parking is available at TFA.  One way traffic only counter clockwise around the facility.  Please do not park in the Public Storage lot, you will be towed.

CONCESSIONS
The Frisco Masters Booster Club will be selling drinks and snacks in the lobby.
