This competition is limited to the first 150 entrants.
Currently there are 48 entrants.

Join us for a beach weekend and get in some fun races at #thefunnestmeet!  The laid-back meet format encourages the most novice swimmers and triathletes through the seasoned competitors to have fun and enjoy racing!  Events range from 25's to the 500, and includes 4x25 yd relays.  The final event is our world renowned "Floatie Relay" with large inner tubes.  All swimmers and volunteers receive free admitance to the post-meet BBQ social complete with Beer, Wine, lots of food and a raffle.  This is one meet you do not want to miss.  Registrations are limited to the first 150 swimmers.  Do not delay. Course:                       
8 lane, 25 yard indoor heated pool will be in use. All 8 lanes will be used for competition. The Colorado System 6 timing system will be used. The length of the competition course is in compliance and on file with USMS in accordance with USMS articles 105.1.7 and 106.2.1.  You can expect pool temperatures to be between 80-82 degrees.  

Schedule:                         
The check-in table will open at 11:00 am in the downstairs hallway. Swimmers may only access the locker rooms and bleacher seating at that time.  The pool deck will be closed to swimmers until 11:40am.  Pool will open for warm-up from 11:45 am - 12:30 pm. Swimmers will have access to all 8 lanes in the competition pool for warm-up.  The meet starts with the 500 at 12:40 pm. The dive well will be available throughout the meet for warm up and cool down between events.   There will be a 5 minute breaks after events; 1, 2, 6, 14 and 21 and between any other events as deemed necessary.

Rules:                        
USMS rules will govern this meet. Swimmers must be registered with USMS for 2024. One day USMS registration (OEVT) will be available. When warming up, you must enter the pool feet first except in sprint lanes. No equipment is allowed. NO DIVING will be allowed during ANY breaks.  One-event registration is strictly for insurance coverage for the event. OEVT are not eligible for any Event Rankings, Top 10, USMS records, or other honors achieved in that event. Per Article 301.3.1 of the USMS Rule Book.

Additional Information: 
Times achieved at the meet will be submitted to USMS and eligible for Top Ten consideration and USMS records.The times recorded from the 25's are NOT eligible for USMS records.
On deck seating is limited.  Be sure to bring a deck chair if you have one.

Entries:                         
Online entries only.  Deadline for entries is 11:59 pm EST Saturday October 26th, 2024. No paper entries will be accepted and no deck entries will be accepted at the meet.

Fees:                           
$40.00 flat fee, which includes the BBQ Social, through October 12.  Fee increases to $55 on October 13.  There is a $20 one day "One Event Registration" fee available for those that are not USMS members. No extra charge for relays. There will be no refunds unless the meet is cancelled, in which case $20.00 of the fee paid will be retained and the balance will be refunded. If inclement weather occurs, the staff will determine by 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 1, if the natatorium will or will not open the following morning. 

Post Meet Social:
A BBQ social will be held immediately following the completion of the meet at Long Leaf Park Shelter 4, 314 Pine Grove Dr. 28409.  The social is free for registered swimmers and volunteers. Guests are $12 for adults, and $5 for children.  We will be handing out awards and prizes at the social!  Check your meet email for directions.  MUST BE PRESENT TO WIN!

Seeding:                     
All events will be seeded by time from slow to fast. The 500 Free will be capped at 24 swimmers and will include a positive check-in which will close at 12:15 pm.

Scoring:                     
Points will be awarded as follows:
Individuals: 9-7-6-5-4-3-2-1

Limit and Order of Events: Limit is six individual events plus any relay events.
