LOCATION: Jack Young Middle School

TIME: Sunday November 3, 2019, Warm-up 10:00 AM, meet starts at 11:00AM.
FACILITIES: 8 lanes, 25-yard pool with anti-turbulent lane guides, starting
blocks and backstroke flags. The length of the competition
course, without a bulkhead, is in compliance with articles
105.1.7 and 106.1.7.
ELIGIBILITY: Open to all Masters Swimmers 18 years old or older. All entrants
must be a registered Masters Swimmer and the USMS number
must be on the entry. Each entry must be accompanied by a
copy of the swimmers 2019 USMS registration card.
RULES: Official Masters Rules will govern this meet. All events will be timed finals.
SEEDING: Heats will be seeded slowest to fastest by computer. Please submit a reasonably accurate seed time, a NO TIME will be seeded in the slowest heat. Age groups and sexes will be combined to expedite the meet.
TIMING: Electronic timing (primary: automatic) backed up by two buttons (secondary: semi-automatic) and one watch (tertiary). This level of timing meets requirements for setting USMS records.
WARM-UP Lane 4 will be a start and sprint lane with swimming in one
PROCEDURE: direction only and exiting to the side or end. Lanes 1-3 and 5-
8 will be for circle swimming only. NO DIVING STARTS from
the blocks or the deck in lanes 1-3 or 5-8. Swimmers must enter
the pool feet first in a cautious manner during warm up. Hand
paddles, kickboards, fins, etc., may not be used at any time
during the warm up. Lane 8 will be the designated lane for warm-up/warm
down during the meet. No jumping, diving or socializing in lane 8 while the meet
is in progress
ENTRY FEE: $4.00 per individual event, plus a $15.00 pool surcharge. No Charge for
ON-LINE relays. Online entries are paid by credit card to "ClubAssistant.com Events".
Relay-only swimmers must enter the meet with no events, sign the waiver and
pay the facility fee. Will accept on deck enteries. See selection above for Relay-only swimmers.
MEET ENTRY The Wisconsin LMSC has agreed to the use of ON-LINE meet
entries thru Club Assistant for meets in Wisconsin. The link for

The On-Line meet entry deadline for the Baraboo meet is Saturday Nov. 2nd, 2019.

Deck entries for individual events will be accepted until 10:15 am.
ENTRY LIMIT: Six individual events per day plus relays. The 1000 Freestyle will be
limited to the first 14 entries received.

The LIABILITY RELEASE must be signed without any
alterations. Remember to include a copy of your USMS
registration card.
PLEASE NOTE THAT USMS 2020 Individual Registration Renewal begins Nov 1st.
If you have not registered with USMS for 2019, or if you wish to register for a different club, please register with USMS beginning Nov. 1st and then enter this meet. If you are planning to swim relays, all swimmers on the relay must be registered with the same USMS club. Once you have registered for 2020 after Nov 1st, the registration is effective immediately and if you registered for a new club, this is now your club.

of 2 men and 2 women. Swimmers will be permitted to swim in only
one 200 Free, 200 Medley, 400 Free and 400 Medley relay.

I90/94 towards the Dells Use the Baraboo/Portage exit for Hwy 33 West on Hwy 33 towards Baraboo, approx. 14mi Stay on Hwy 33 in Baraboo to Draper St, the third stop light
Right on Draper St to the High School on the left. Continue up the hill, the Middle School is behind the High School The pool entrance parking lot is on the back side of the Middle School
(on top of the hill)
Social:
In the past after the swim meet, we have had a small social at Baraboo Burger
Company, 116 4th Ave. Baraboo WI. Please tentatively plan on going with us for food and
refreshments after the swim meet.
